SportAid Scott Specialties (v) Wrist Support Medium Slip-On 6 3/4-7 1/2

I love these simple braces. I have what I call "wimpy wrist syndrome" - my wrist aches after using it for a while, on electronics, for instance, and will actually hurt if I pick up something heavy or flex my wrist to push open a door. When I wear this brace I don't get the ache, though I still have to be careful not to flex the wrist when pushing. The brace does wear over time - I replace it about once a year. It is easily hand-washable, or can be thrown in the wash (I use cold water and line dry or tumble dry low). Another thing I like is that I can pull just my thumb out and roll down the palm portion to my wrist, so I can wash dishes without removing the brace or getting it wet (if I'm careful). It's a little less supportive that way, but better than no brace. The stiffer, more complex braces have to be removed completely for that task. The support is mild - it is probably not enough for severe wrist issues, but it is perfect for me and my aches.
