This has been one of my best travel purchases to date. I travel almost exclusively carry-on only for air travel and car travel, I like to be as minimal as possible while still having the stuff I want with me. One thing that I constantly noticed was when I stayed in other peoples homes, either friends or airbnbs, the bathroom is seldom set up well for doing skincare and makeup. I have a hanging travel case and pulling everything out and laying it on the counter was a pain. Stuff would roll away, get in the sink and get wet, or I was running back and forth between my bag. Now everything goes in here, it’s laid flat, I can rummage through it without stuff getting lost. It’s safe from getting wet since this has the waterproof front. The pockets hold my powders and puffs, the size was perfect for my amount of makeup. It is really deceptive how much it holds, I can do a full beat of makeup with my travel setup including all the skin prep. All my liquids fit in my TSA bag, and the rest fits in this. The color is super cute, the quality is excellent, I’ve literally lugged this thing everywhere now for 6+ months and it just wipes clean. I would buy this again a million times over. Good bang for buck.

This is a great option if you have ADHD. It lets me have my makeup visible so I can see everything I have and then scoop it up real quick and take it with me when I travel. It’s so convenient and feels like a cheat to stay clean and organized. I have tried makeup bags that have tiers, zippers, compartments but it just wasn’t something I could keep organized when I’m constantly on the go and rushing out the door. The worst was when I thought I packed something but when I opened that tier it was missing! With this, I can see everything I have all at once and realize what I might be missing before I close the bag. I also like the mini bag that comes with so I can just take a few items to touch up my makeup. Size is great for just taking it to the bathroom at work, an event, or quick trips while the larger one is great for home and longer trips. Love this! I have been using this for years and still good as new.

Wow I’ve been looking for the perfect makeup kit that can fit all my things that I can also take with me everyday. This is the one! The difference from regular makeup kits is it doesn’t have a rectangular or other stiff shapes that I can’t bring inside my bags. It also lays flat which makes it easier for me to pick up specific makeup. I love the zipper compartment as well as the included mini bag. No more falling stuff from my regular zippered makeup kit. I love this so much!!

I wanted to try this for a few weeks to see how I liked it. I would give it more ⭐️if I could. I usually have a clutter either on my counter or in a drawer. Not anymore. I can now easily see what I have and what I have already purchased and when I’m low on an item. I’ve included pictures to see the easy steps. I purchased the 20inch which was perfect for me. All my makeup is inside and it makes a very easy bag to store or travel with, thereby making the design and makeup application much easier. The draw string has a clasp the locks so it won’t open on its own. Easy close and open. When open all items easily seen. I keep my lip colors in the inside zip and the extra bag(that also has the same type of draw string closure.) is for my eye shadow colors. The elastic strap sewn in the lining keeps things organized. I first saw an item similar to this on various sites that had high shipping costs and obviously not originating shipping from US, which made the item much higher and probably no refund. Decided to go for the better quality and value. You won’t regret it I can tell you I really love mine.

I just received the Lay-n-Go Cosmo kit and here are my thoughts, in no particular order: PROs: - Weighs next to nothing - Does exactly what it says: Provides a clean and contained surface for makeup when on the road. Things really stay put and cannot roll off the table - Useful inside zipper pocket for small jewelry or a watch, etc. - Supposedly washable - I got it in the silver, and it looks quite good, the quilting is especially nice looking CONs: *updated 8/15/2013 reg. washing instructions - point 2 below* - While it looks big when laying flat, it does not provide all that much storage room when cinched shut - Contrary to my initial assessment that there were no washing instructions, another reviewer (see Comments) pointed out to me that those instructions can indeed be found sewn into the outer Velcro pocket. According to these, the bag can be hand-washed. Sorry for not finding these on my own :-) - The drawstring closes the kit up but not 100 %. If something were to spill inside the pouch, it is easy to see how this could create a mess inside one's purse/handbag. I'm thinking rouge breaking apart, anything powder-y for that matter... - Pricey. In all honesty, the kit reminds me of the hood on a sports or even light down jacket - both in feel and material. It opens up wider than most hoods do but essentially there is not much more to it than that. I think what one is paying for here is more so the idea (and it is a nifty one, for sure!) than the product value itself. SUMMARY: It works, but at a price of over $30 this is way too expensive. I love the idea, and it seems to be OK quality-wise but I would not buy this again at this price. If money is not an issue, you will likely be happy with this pouch but I for one keep looking at this kit and cannot decide whether I like it or whether someone pulled a fast one on me :-) 3.5 stars if that were possible.

Das praktischste Ding, das ich je hatte! Die Schnur ist etwas zu lang gewesen, das muss ich schon sagen. Ich habe aber innert 5 sek die Schnur gekürzt und bin mit dem ganzen seeeehr zufrieden.

I love this bag!!!! I can travel with so much more than I could with ordinary makeup bags. The price has gone up since I've purchased it but the size and quality is perfect and makes it so worth it. I was able to throw it in the wash after a few uses with no problems. I will say that if you're looking for organization this is not the bag for you (just one awkward pocket) but if you want something that is easy and compact but still fits everything you need then BUY THIS BAG!!
