I bought this so I could keep riding after a serious rib cage injury.Cons: Unfortunately for trail riding it's stupid hot! The chest protector is truly a sheet of rubber across the front of your chest. In severe hot and humid conditions you sweat to no avail, because air can't get to the sweat to evaporate and cool. It's also a bit heavy, I weighed the L/XL size on an accurate scale, just over 3 lb.Pros: Fits great, the weight isn't real noticeable, just the heat. Provided confidence while riding injured. I do believe it will help in the event of another chest body slam.I ended up punching several hundred holes through it with a hollow punch which will allow at least some ventilation.

Good fit, light weight, so far so good on not over heating, feels like there's good back and lower rib cage coverage, 2 other MTB buddies also purchased and we're all happy with it.

Un excelente producto, muy comodo y gran capacidad de ajuste.Lamentablemente faltaron corregir algunos detalles, como las cintas de los costados (que van pegadas a las costillas o cintura), las que al usarla directamente sobre la piel, causan pequeños rasguños. Otro detalle es que no es posible usar solo la parte delantera.

Sizing is inconsistent. For mi size, 1.75, large is too big and medium rather small. Eventually I kept the medium one. It is also promoted as “configurable” for ski and mtb but the straps for ski are not provided. The elastic bands are too big for the size of the locking clip. I am not sure if this is “by design” or an error. Nevertheless this make adjusting the difficult. However is confortable and I hope will provide good protection.Bottom line: it could be much better with few additioms/changes, that, given the price, should have been thought by poc before launching the product.

I did like this product it is very combfortable on a ride & it does look decent I think However the price is ridiculous I can see 150$ maybe but 230$ not worth it for the money I’ve found better protection for the price elsewhere your paying 100$ for that poc brand it feels like I wish it had more back protection I’ve fallen with this piece it’s ok but I wouldn’t recommend it myself I am returning it

The fit is fine and it's comfortable, but a bit heavy. In reality, it's extremely pricey for rubber, and the elastic straps are not going to last. I have a lot of other POC equipment that is really nice, but I think this is a miss. I'm sure I'll have to make new straps sooner rather than later.Update: Finally was able to use this product. One wipe out and it really doesn't protect you that much at all. In fact, while it does cover your entire spine, due to the elastic straps, it does move on impact and I sustained quite a bit of damage all the way across my shoulders, including the middle portion where this was positioned. There are cheaper options that offer much better coverage including abrasion resistance at a much more palatable price.

Great protection. I was hesistant to get this before but actuall really like it. However, I needed to make a return because the item I have received seems to be used and returned by a customer. Will get a replacement.

I fell seven feet while mountain biking, and landed flat on my back...not a good idea for a 67-year old body! A minute or two later, after the shock of the fall had worn off, I was back on my bike.

Ich habe mir den POC VPD Torso Protektor für heiße Sommertage im Bikepark oder auf ruppigen Trails zugelegt, an denen ich keine Protektorweste tragen möchte, aber dennoch guten Schutz benötige.Er sitzt bei mir ausgezeichnet und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Mit 178 cm Körpergröße habe ich nach einiger Recherche eine Nummer größer als von POC empfohlen bestellt, was sich als gute Entscheidung erwies. Bei geringerer Schulterbreite und weniger Brustumfang ist aber vermutlich die vom Hersteller empfohlene Größe passender.Der Brustprotektor deckt sehr gut den Brustkorb samt Rippen ab. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass der Rückenprotektor eine gute Länge hat und somit auch die unteren Wirbel schützt. Diese Eigenschaft habe ich bei vielen Wettbewerbern vermisst.Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Der Brust-und Rückenschutz komplettiert meine Sicherheitsausrüstung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig, die Passform genau wie beschrieben
