To cleanse or Not to cleanse.
A friend of mine told be about a detox she did. I had a limited knowledge what that a detox or cleanse was. She said it was a liquid diet done for 10 days. She said that the first couple of days were really hard, but after that it wasn’t bad. She felt so much better, her digestion was better, her face cleared up and she lost weight. I thought I’d pick up this book and look into it.After reading the section of the book describing all the bacteria, fungus, parasites, chemicals, and other substances in your food and in the air, you wonder why we are not sick all the time. With the quizzes in the book it really helped me decide if I needed a master cleanse and if I was ready to do one.The book was very detailed in the process to for a Master Cleanse, what to expect and how to prepare for one. It’s an uncomplicated recipe for the liquid you drink for 10 days, but the laxative every day, seems intense. I had to have laxative for a colonoscopy and didn’t enjoy it.I don’t know if I’m up to a Master Cleanse after reading this book, but it gave me a clear understanding of what it is and how to do one correctly. The one good thing about a Master Cleanse…no strenuous exercise.

Master Cleanses Finally Made Easy!
I picked up The Master Cleanse Made Easy out of curiosity. I’ll be honest: the idea of cleanses terrified me! I had heard of them before in movies and television, and I’ve always been interested but too scared to try it on my own. This book has a ton of information. It goes through each step of the process, lists the benefits of a cleanse, common mistakes, and so much more. It really emphasizes the importance of being prepared for this cleanse! I appreciated how the author took the time to describe what you need to be ready to do this- there were quizzes to help you determine if you were ready, if you were a candidate, and more. This cleanse isn’t for everyone and the author makes sure to prepare you!I was most impressed by how much more this book is besides just taking you through the cleanse. It gives a ton of information on how to keep feeling great after the detox! It provides recipes (my favorite is the Peachy Arugula Salad!), ways to keep your diet detoxed after the cleanse, and ways to help you fully relax! It also gives in-depth personality quizzes throughout the book to help you better understand yourself. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and learning about the philosophy and benefits of a master cleanse.

Fun, simple guide to the Master Cleanse
I’ve been interested in trying the Master Cleanse for a while but I was a little overwhelmed, there are a lot of books about it and none of them grabbed me. A friend of mine recommended Robin’s book to me, they had just gone through the cleanse and found this book extremely helpful. It’s written in a fun, simple and supportive way that I found encouraging. Not only does it give you a quiz to help you decide if you should go on a cleanse but it outlines the major toxins that we are exposed to everyday. I feel like most people I’ve talked to about cleansing don’t really know much beyond the actual act of doing the cleanse. Robin not only explains the history of the cleanse but when, why, and how you should do it. I also appreciated her recipes and tips to stay healthy after the cleanse. I think a lot of what I read/see out there about cleanses thinks that a cleanse is a just a one-time fix-all thing. I’m excited to try it out and feel the results!

A Friendly Approach to the Lemonade Diet
I’ve always been interested in trying the Master Cleanse, but only drinking lemon juice and cayenne and maple syrup for days just sounds…awful. It sounds terrible. But this is the first book I’ve seen about the cleanse that makes it seem like even I can tough it out. Master Cleanse Made Easy is written in such a friendly and supportive voice that it feels like the author really wants you to succeed, and she gives lots of tips for transitioning into and out of the cleanse so it sounds less intimidating. One of the aspects I really like is that this book emphasizes whole-body wellness over weight loss (although it acknowledges that weight loss is definitely a part of the program—just not the whole part). The recipes the author includes for before and after the cleanse use regular ingredients that are easy to source, rather than complicated, expensive pinches of this herb and that spice that cost an arm and a leg, if you can find them at all. I’m almost excited to start the cleanse! (Well, kind of. It’s still lemon juice and cayenne, guys :)

... for something that would help make the process as easy and streamlined as possible
I've never done a cleanse before so I was looking for something that would help make the process as easy and streamlined as possible. I've been working hard to change my eating habits but realized I really needed a master cleanse however I didn't want to go into it blindly like some of my friends have. This book has been a great way for me to understand what I put into my body, what a cleanse does and what I can expect. It really answers basic questions like whether or not a cleanse is right for you, if you need a master cleanse, how it might effect your body, etc. etc. What's been great about this book is that it's so real about what to expect and what toxins we put into our bodies during the day to day. It's the first cleanse book that is really informative. Love the tips and facts throughout too. Take the time to really read the book and answer the quizzes - you'll learn a lot about yourself and your body.
