Company doesn't stand behind defective product
Although this company claims to stand behind their product with a "risk free 120 night trial," don't believe it for a second. I received a defective product from Amazon where one side of the mattress literally just slopes down. I called them and they told me to email a picture and they would help me out. Now, they've written 3 emails asking for additional pictures and for information contained in the first email. At this point, they are just stalling and trying to not have to stand behind their product.I'm not sure how it will turn out, but this company does not stand behind their product and their product is cheaply built, so I would move to something that is better manufactured and better supported. Also, they seem to be balking about honoring their "120 day commitment" because I bought it on Amazon, so beware of that as well.Overall, a very bad experience.

What Dreams Are Made Of
This is perfection.Alright, I waited two weeks after buying this mattress to give it my undivided attention...as much attention as you can give something when you are sleeping of course. I wanted to give myself time to adjust to a new surface (it can take around 10-14 days for your neck and back to fully assimilate).I spent weeks before biting the bullet and pressing buy researching various mattress companies. What I was looking for: Something relatively soft. Something cooling. Something that offered support for back and side sleepers. Something that would not break the bank. Something that would last longer than a year.So the Verdict: This mattress is firm in the sense that it is memory foam. If you are going from a spring mattress to this it will feel so firm at first. When we first lay on it I was concerned that I would find it awful. It took a few days to adjust, but honestly I've never slept better. The mattress is designed to support pressure points. Honestly it's better for your back and spine to get this and invest in a topper/mattress pad that adds comfort. If you absolutely are worried it's going to be too firm, go for the soft version. Although I will mention the medium is designed for both side and back sleepers for proper spine alignment. The other thing was the need for something to be cooling. My bf and I are both warm sleepers, and memory foam can be hot. The Brooklyn is designed with three layers of foam, the two cooling ones layered on top. We haven't had any issues with warmer-than-before sleeping so it seemed to really work. The price, well, it is worth it and every other cooling mattress I seemed to research that seemed to actually work and be reletivly soft were going up in the thousands. A mattress which you use every day is an important investment but I also want to buy a house eventually. This seemed to be on the middle of more than the ones that were questionable in quality and ones that were out of budget. While I've had it less than a month and can't attest to the lasting a year, it's a pretty safe bet we will have it longer. In the end: Please buy this, it is well worth it. Give it time to expand (ours took less than 12 hours). While there may be a smell from the plastic (as said in other reviews in several rolled up delivered foam mattresses) we couldn't detect anything. Do yourself a favor, invest in a nice mattress protector to extend it's life and protect yourself from dust and other things.

Twin soft
There is stupid soft and sensible soft. This is sensible. I don’t sink into it. It doesn’t become some expensive hammock. My body adjusts so it seems my spine is kept straight, therefore hips and shoulders are a bit lower due to the sensible softness. My extensive research indicated this brand’s soft was made especially for people like me, a side sleeping slightly overweight grandma with back and hip issues. Sleepoplis does excellent reviews. As do Amazon customers. I am finding this a perfect mattress for my needs. Perfect. Very fearful of not trying it first, but grew to trust professional reviewers with nothing to gain. The delivery guy helped me get it into the house. Opened very carefully as it is wrapped in layers of plastic and it just popped up. No odor. None at all. Let it sit there then slept on it that night. I would buy this again in a minute. No doubts at all.

Don’t buy on Amazon. Buy directly from Brooklyn Bedding
Buyers beware - the product description is misleading. When you buy the mattress here, it is NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY unless you buy it from dreamfoam bedding, which is not the default seller. The 10 year warranty automatically offered from Brooklyn Bedding has to be bought here. It is also not covered for free returns.I should have heeded the warning of other reviewers, but prior to buying my mattress I called both Amazon and Brooklyn Bedding. Both parties I spoke with assured me the warranty was still valid, so I went ahead and bought on Amazon for the faster shipping. After my purchase I have also called Amazon and Brooklyn Bedding again multiple times to confirm whether or not my mattress was covered under warranty. I reached support agents who were absolutely clueless and could not help me. Just a waste of time.Note my review is for the purchase process and not the mattress itself. I find the mattress comfortable, and I like it a lot. The medium might be a little soft for my taste though, so I decided to exchange it for a firm.Turns out if you want to return a mattress you bought on Amazon, you would have to pay a restocking fee of $150 and pay $60 for them to come pick it up.Save yourself the headache and just buy directly from Brooklyn Bedding.

Great mattress, for ONE year.
I purchased (ordered) this mattress on 2/15/18. Just over a year later, there is a permanent indentation where I sleep. It is worth mentioning that I am not a large person (110 lbs). I have not been able to locate information regarding warranty or a way to contact the seller, which is troublesome. So, if you're looking for a mattress that feels fantastic for a very brief period of time, this is the one. I'd recommend it for a guest room or some other bed that doesn't get used regularly, because it did feel really nice initially.
