Mishimoto MMTC-K2-14 Transmission Cooler, Compatible with Chevrolet Silverado, 2014-2018, Silver

Install is clean with decent instructions, however I recommend the youtube install vid for guidance. Complete kit, sturdy mounting. Clean looking when mounted/better than other coolers I've seen. And it really drops the temps. In 100 deg weather my trans was running 145 deg. Really good in my book. not a cheap item, but good.

I installed on my 2014 Chevolet Silverado ....perfect fit and came with all needed hardware... Transmission runs much cooler even when pulling my 5,000lb travel trailer.. I would highly recomend.

Would definitely recommend I haul trailers for a living & this transmission intercooler makes my truck run a lot smoother! I feel like it gots more horsepower as well

After doing research on the Chev 6 speed trans weakness, I decided I needed to reduce the operating temperature. There are a lot of coolers and thermal bypass products out there and many (most?) are cheaper, but this was advertised as being made specifically for my year Silverado. It fit perfectly, all the lines connected as they should have. The included thermal bypass parts also went on as designed with no issues. The truck only has 43k miles, and has had minimal towing but fluid that came out was very dirty, so I did a fluid/filter change at the same time. Prior to installing this unit, my trans ran about 195° on an average day. Considering the fluid runs thru the radiator that runs 210°, that's probably typical. But everything I read says that temperature will limit the trans life to about 100k miles. After installing the unit, the trans temp was holding 125° with ambient air temp at 89°, so I'm quite happy. Yea, it's expensive, but as they say, pay once/cry once.

Used for lowering temps and worked as described, now stay significantly lower then before and truck stays happy on road trips.

Seems to be working great

Before installing in my 16 YukonXL trans temps would get to 195+ within 30 miles of driving even in cooler temps (40°). Installing does take some time and patience but it was definitely worth it. first test drive today on 70° day,, temps dropped to 104-106 degrees with cruise set on hwy ,,I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone experiencing high trans temps or just wanting a quality aftermarket cooler with the thermal bypass valve

Dropped the transmission temperature 30 degree on my Silverado. Would highly recommend to lower temperatures and save transmission.

It arrived in good condition.Exactly as described.Very high quality, as expected.Easy install, good instructions.Dropped my transmission temperature 30*f!Hopefully this lengthens transmission life.
