It’s quite small, heavy and a rusty, cast-iron colour. The little birds are screwed on so needed tightening up on receipt.No protection from rain by design.The bowl is loose, but that makes it easy to remove for cleaning.I like it and may buy several for different bird food/drink offerings.

That they are really good quality and have a it of weight to them by again for the price we paid

This is a beautiful strong cast iron bird feeder or bird bath. It is good value and arrived in super fast time. My only complaint is that it was not wrapped. The address label was on the box with the picture of item on the front and it was a valentine gift for my husband and he accepted the parcel from the postman! So no security or privacy on this but as far as the item goes it is lovely and I would recommend. Xxx

Much larger and heavier than expected. Also expected there to be drainage holes as it's advertised for food. Turns out there isn't a hole, but now makes a great bird bath hanging in my tree.

This is a lovely bird feeder. Looks great hanging from our tree - the birds took to it straightaway. I would of given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that drainage holes had to be drilled into the bottom to stop it flooding. Excellent quality, would 100% recommend!

I hang this item from a bird feeding station alongside 3 fat-ball feeders and a peanut feeder. I don't fill it with food; I fill it with fresh water. It took a week or so for the birds to recognise that it contained safe water, but they now use this everyday and replenish regularly. It's heavy and so you would need a sturdy bird feeding station, or branch, to hang it from.

Within 2 days one of the little birds had fallen off but the bowl is doing its good & the birds are enjoying the food!

I'm using this as a bird bath and it is lovely. Birds love it. One thing however is assembling the hanger to the bowl it is fiddly but don't give up and it eventually slots in nicely.
