Paving Tape, 1/4" x 30'

Let me start off by saying that I love all Woodland Scenics products that I have purchased to date. Their products are the best on the market in my opinion and I have had good luck with them. This paving tape for me was absolute garbage. The backing paper that covers the adhesive on the foam roll would stick and tear off leaving an unusable section of tape. I had to cut it off and restart another section numerous times and wasted 50% of the roll in the process. Maybe this batch was old I don't know but very frustrating. Very disappointed with this product would not recommend. The kit also comes with a 5 1/2" smoothing plastic tool which is about 1/2" short for a two lane HO scale highway. I ended up using a metal straight edge ruler that I had to do the job. In the end with some yankee ingenuity the result is a perfect roadway for my HO scale layout.

Nice sticky hold guarantees drying liquids won't spill out from underneath while pouring roadways on a model railroad. Package comes with a good amount of product, compactly stored in a flat coil that you unwind as needed. Truthfully, this stuff isn't much different than door/window insulation tape you can buy at a hardware store -- if anything, it has a slightly lower profile, meaning your real risk for spillover happens when material is poured too deeply and flows over the top.

the Woodland Scenics Paving Tape works and is easy to use once you get the backing tape off. I had a difficult time removing the backing, it would start to come off and then starting at one edge the backing would not separate from the tape. This continued to happen throughout the entire roll. For some sections it was impossible to remove all of the backing and for other sections it just took quite a bit of time.

Used the woodland scenics paving tape in conjunction with smooth-it for making the roads in a diorama. Great product and easy to use. Its just 1/16 inch thick so the roads are very thin.

Nice product but really too thick for N or S scale layouts. OK for HO.

Product was detective. There was no adhesive. Returned for refund.
