Easy to read, Great for new transplants to the city
Bought this book for my dad, who I moved to Pittsburgh from Southern California after he was diagnosed with dementia. The dementia makes it hard for him to focus on reading for long periods of time, but he has loved this book and has really changed his feelings about Pittsburgh. He went from saying that his life was over since the move to feeling excited about living there.Everything is divided into digestible chunks for easy consumption for him, and he has now made a list of things he wants to see, which makes the time we spend together more enjoyable.

Great tidbits, but a map would've given it 5 stars
I understand that everyone looks at how things should be organized differently. What I found lacking was that it wasn't broken into neighborhoods or at least provide a MAP with pinpoints for the sites in the book. We were only in downtown Pittsburg for 3 days and though we highlighted things we would like to see, clumping them into walkable locations was a pain in the butt.

Hidden Treasures
Had friends coming in from out of town & this gave some entertaining ideas that I wouldn’t have known.
