Easy to grip & open
I have had lots of problems with smooth mini carabiners which often break on the opener, when the hinge gives out.I decided to look at more substantial carabiners that weren't tubular, as I have increasing difficulties with coordination due to illness.Although the thickness of these doesn't always allow them to pass through loops on small things like earbud pouches, they are far more sturdy and easier to use, as your thumb doesn't slip of the two sturdy wire prongs that form the opening.I have bought several packs of these as I'm trying to organise a storage system for smaller items. These work really well with Tuff bags and similar types of bags designed for camping and travelling. If they come with small carabiners, I just replace them with these now and don't bother using the small ones any more.

Nice mini carabiners, stronger than most.
These things are a step up from the tiny flat-profile wiregates, which are themselves not bad. Allegedly good for 80Kg, no real reason to doubt this, they seem strong for their (tiny) size. Some stiff gates on some of them, easily adjusted, nothing that bothers me. Colorful and functional, good value. (Stiff gates should be sorted out before hanging more than a few kilos from 'em because with the gate not closed properly these will not come anywhere near their rated strength.)Obviously, not for climbing, other than for clipping light stuff to gear loops etc - and even then probably a bit small to operate with gloved hands, and a bit narrow-opening and fiddly, perhaps.) But basically, exactly as it appears, a miniature version of a proper climbing carabiner that makes a superior dog-lead clip, bungee clip, keyring clip, etc.Another review has a picture of a bent and mangled one of these, claiming that it got that way trying to support 15Kg. Yet another shows two bent ones from a hammock.Curious as I am, I thought I could sacrifice one to see if they were really that feeble. I lashed one up between a handle and a chin-up bar using a few loops of paracord, donned a pair of safety glasses (if they're hard, these things shatter violently when they break) and cautiously lifted myself up on it. I weigh at least ninety kilos, probably more right now. It deformed slightly 'til the hook of the nose part was tight against the wire gate (which is what the proper sized ones do when heavily loaded), then held fast. I lifted myself completely off the ground, a couple of times. It returned to its original shape (see pic) and appears undamaged. (It started out a bit scratched and I was worried that surface scratches might cause it to fracture, but it seemed ok.)All the ones shown damaged are shown bent. So either they are wildly inconsistent, and there are some made of cheaper alloys, or not properly treated, or maybe just a couple of duds out there. Or possibly they were ones where the gate was stiff and didn't close properly, or maybe they were shock-loaded (15Kg dropped from a height is a very different proposition to 15Kg slowly lifted). Or maybe I just got lucky with a batch made of left-over super-alloy or something.I wouldn't expect a small novelty clip like this to be very consistent in material or manufacture, to be honest.Either way, for something this size, the ones I received seem strong enough, to me, for any sensible sort of use. They are plainly not intended for holding people up safely. They are rated at 80Kg, that to me means that at around 80Kg static load you could reasonably expect them to fail. That means that 80Kg is a fair way beyond their expected service loading. 80Kg is not an exceptionally large person. Climbing gear is rated to at least two *thousand* kilos. Because shock loads from a moderate sized person go way, way higher than their static weight. (Again, see pic - the bigger carabiner in that picture is rated to 2400Kg and has certificates to back that up.)If I hung a hammock from two of these tiddlers - even ones that I have actually lifted myself up on a single one of without breaking - and then jumped into the hammock, I would expect them to break. Possibly OK if there were three at each end, but really, for a hammock, I would use something bigger - Amazon have loads of 12kN (1200Kg) rated ones that would be fine (provided they were loaded with their gates closed). It is not sensible to take something with a claimed breaking strain roughly equivalent to your body weight and then expect it to reliably allow you to bounce around hanging from it. These are light-duty clips, they're pretty to look at, nice to hold, cheap, and they're *surprisingly* strong and to my mind they meet or exceed all reasonable expectations.I like 'em.Update: Looking more closely at the ones I received, it appears that some have a better nose "hook" shape than others - the one in the picture, for example, has a more "square" cut-out, on which the wiregate catches when the clip is stressed. Others, though, have a more sloping, rounded shape, and when I selected one of these to test, when heavily loaded it pushed the wiregate in and disengaged - it still didn't break or take a permanent bend from more or less my full weight but it looked way dodgier than the black one, and would clearly fail much more easily. So if you want to load them to anything like their stated capacity, examine the nose hook and perhaps take a small file to it to get it to work as it should. The difference is pretty subtle, but it will make a big difference to strength.

57mm version 10pk is good value
Firstly - these are not for climbing or anywhere where you might perish if they fail. I have a lot of climbing-rated carabiners but they are sometimes too big and a bit of overkill. These little wiregates are half the size of a regular biner and are great for rigging tent lines or other tasks where you want something substantial but small. I have bought two packs of 10 now - which works out as the best deal.

As Hoped
I have been using small, non-climbing, crabs like this for many years to attach keys to my belt, items to my rucksack, etc. These TITECOUGO items are well made and look to be robust - much better than the lightweight, solid bar type that are available elsewhere. They are slightly smaller than the last crabs I used, but this should not have any affect on the purposes I wish to use them for.

Bought for keys
Does what I bought it to do - for keeping keys together and when I need them to separate them. Clasp mechanism is strong and the d ring seems to be quite strong as well.Only con is that the gold is more of an orange gold and I would recommend buying a different colour if this would bother you

Recommended, Again
I have reviewed these TITECOUGO carabiner clips a number of times already - when I’ve bought them before - and this review echos my previous comments.Whilst I am not using them for trekking or camping purposes, I am very happy with them - especially regarding the number of times and situations they have proven to be useful.

Great value for money
Bought these to attach water bottles to my daysack when out hiking. They arrived well packaged, within two days. They seem very sturdy and well made with a nicely sprung gate. I think they’re going to last a lifetime! Recommended.

Value for money
Good value for money. Seem very strong and good size. I just use them for keys and bags etc so I'm not really testing them that much.
