Can this be used to take an odor out of an old architectural salvaged cabinet? Is it rechargable by heating?

Yes, it will remove organic odors and can be heard in an oven or direct sunlight to recharge. Thanks

is this 4 ounces or 2 pounds?

Neither - I paid for 2 pounds and it was only 1 pound. They wouldn't make it right - don't buy from these crooks.

If this is external use only why are reviewers saying great for mercury/metal detox and growing hair etc?

I do take a teaspoon of the zeolite powder periodically for detox reasons, with no adverse reactions, but too much can be constipating so I use in moderation. I hope this helps.
