Babylon By the Sea (NY) (Images of America) Paperback – Illustrated, May 5, 2004

Growing up and living on Long Island (in Babylon) from 1958 through 1985, I thought this book, as well as being a good read, shows quite accurately how we lived in the land that is now so changed. In the days of yesteryear, Long Island was wrought with farms and farm stands along the roads. The Hamptons were merely a place to sunbathe, swim and fish! We lived in towns that were fairly new and went to new schools.

Really like the historic photos and info. I grew up there and just went for a visit. Learned alot of info that I never knew.
