I like the compact size, the feel of the fabric, and the color is a bit lighter and more orangey than I thought, but that's ok. I like how secure the zipper feels and that the end of it snaps to the side of the case. It does hold 24 pencils but you have to really squeeze them in. It is much nicer for 12 pencils, or a mix of a few pencils, maybe a fountain pen, a click-eraser, some sketch pencils, those type of things. Ordered from National Art Supply through Amazon and it was in perfect condition and arrived quickly.

I bought this after seeing a friend's case. It holds my pencils and micron pens really well. It is easy to get them in and out. It is sturdya nd compact enough to throw in a purse.

I bought two of this pouch and they are equally awesome. My pencils fit beautifully —not too tight, and not too loose. I am very happy with this item. Oh! And it has a snap to keep the zipper from accidentally opening and losing your gear.The only thing you should know is this: this pouch is only designed to hold standard pencil size pencils (think your regular Dixon Ticonderoga yellow pencils). I use all kinds of pencils. I especially love Sumo grip mechanical pencils (extra chunky) and Blackwing pencils (extra long). The case will not zip around the extra length of the Blackwing pencils and chunky pencils give you less space to use for storing writing implements. Aside from that, these are great and worth every penny.

This is a beautiful well made pencil case. I purchased the one that says it holds 48 pencils. The case has 2 zippered sections each section has 6 stretch pieces to hold your pencils. In order to fit 48 pencils you will have to squeeze 4 pencils per section in each one which I found difficult. I am using thicker charcoal and carbon pencils so thinner pencils might fit better. Since I am using this for charcoal pencils my point if getting a hard case was to protect the pencil point from breaking since it’s hard to keep charcoal pencils sharp and I do it by hand. I found for my regularly used sharp pencil I put one pencil per section. For unsharpened pencils I was able to squeeze 4 in a section but it is very tight, well made case. Nice strong zippers which snap closed. A bit pricey but I’m happy.

I bought this on a whim to see if it would work for my growing set of DPNs, and I'm OBSESSED. It looks like my US 4-9s were meant to live in this pencil case. There is excellent cushion, the canvas appears to be durable without being rough, and the construction is very sturdy. Highly recommend this case for other knitters who are on the hunt for needle storage that keeps them secure and organized.

I have purchased a couple of these, one for my luminance pencils and the other for my supracolor pencils. They differ in color and I like being able to just pull whichever I need and don't have to worry about tipping them all over as I have unfortunately done or more than one occasion. So far, I have only used them at home in my living area, but I hope to do some urban sketching with them.

I draw a bit and gotta a bunch of pencils and these things have made such a difference with making it easier. Everything is organized now and it is just a game changer and these things really are so well made. I can't say enough good things about them. I give it 5 stars and 3 thumbs up, I don't want to talk about the thumb thing lol.

I’m using this case for Faber Castell Polychromos which are a thicker pencil so that definitely effects what this case will comfortably store.Case is nice, love the canvas covers, love the zippers and the snaps to hold the zippers in place - pretty cool.However, here’s where it gets tricky: my thicker pencils - slightly thicker than others like prismacolor - makes sliding three pencils into each section pretty challenging. The elastic is very stiff. If the elastic were more flexible then three polychromos pencils per section might work better. This will be the same challenge for those who are going to use this for caran d’ache luminance and probably the Derwent pencils.Two of the thicker high quality artist-grade pencils in each section is better for this case vs the three intended, which makes it ideal for holding 80 pencils vs 120.I think this case is overpriced at the $27, I paid for it. However, I’ll keep it because it will hold all the polychromos pencils in my collection and, frankly, I guess I’m not TOO bothered by the downsides to drag it somewhere for a return.I wouldn’t purchase another at this price, though.

I really like the elastics in this case as you can keep three or four crayons in one elastic. The case is a nice size and well made.

This is the perfect case for all your those presious beautiful pencils and don't they look just gorgeous in this case

I like how the zipper is held in place with snap. The spaces for the pencils also work very well and hold the pencils snugly.
