I built it with 2x4 framing lumber and used this screen with turnbuckles to tighten the ropes which go through the screen.I did it very very tight that the frame began to bow a bit but the screen was holding well (no tears or rips).I stretched the screen more around corners to remove wrinkles around the frame.After all this, the image is perfect and no visible micro-wrinkles from sitting distance (7 feet from 150" screen). I did my screen test with bright white light project and I couldnt detect any imperfections or wrinkles from my eye.But if I go close to the screen like 2 feet away from screen, I can see minor imprints from the folds it came from. (I waited 2 weeks to write this review and those minor imprints still exist). But from practical viewing from a very close viewing distance of 7 feet, you cannot see any difference and is perfectly reproducing the image.My message for DIYs, you can definitely use this as the screen material instead of buying a 1000$ pre build screen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, strong, possibly water proof too *by A***M on August 13, 2020* I think this screen is pretty good. I tried a smaller one from another company, but it was more of a cloth. This one is not a cloth but an actual projector screen with a glossy surface. I specifically wanted one that had a dark back so that the light does not diffuse through when using it for front projection. It is a good size (150”) and due to that it is a bit heavy and needs some extra time to hang it up. I use it for outdoor movies and so I set it up on Friday’s and take it down on Sunday night or Monday. So it does take a few extra minutes to Go through the cycle.On the other hand, I wish I had ordered this for my indoor movie room. I have one that is a manual roll-up one that has its frame attached to the wall. This one would have been comparatively cheaper and with the provided hardware, it would be easy to hang it up on the wall too.The one negative (which may not be the case after 2-3 uses) is that it creates when you fold it to store. I was told that if I leave it up for a few days, it would flatten out. So for a semi-permanent setup, it may be just fine.Overall I like this product as the quality of finish and the material itself is pretty good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm on the Fence *by J***T on October 11, 2021* If your intentions with the projector screen is to hang it on the wall in your media room to watch imaging/video/etc. and be done with it, then its a great little screen and it works perfectly in my smaller sized media room doing just that... Hanging on the wall. If you purchased it, like myself, to use in a more portable fashion, then I'd keep looking.It comes with everything needed to hang and quickly be able to begin using, but it didn't fulfill my need to be able to take and display while I was on an extended camping trip over the summer. It takes quite a bit of effort to assemble, especially to rid it of wrinkles and it is made to be pulled tight at every possible angle, making it not feasible outdoors without a stand, or inside if a tent, period.
