I debated getting this set, I read all reviews, which seemed split. I have a queen bed and I was getting this to go over a very light comforter with a long ruffle skirt, so I did not want it to look like a full bedspread, just a topper. After looking at the reviews stating how large these are and looking at the dimensions in the description, I decided to order the twin size. The set came in and it is gorgeous! It is the perfect size and I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I think it is important to know a couple of things when purchasing: 1. Look at the dimensions in the description of the product and find the dimensions of your mattress, which can easily be done with a google search. 2. Determine how you want this to look on your bed and order accordingly. 3. Remember, even though it comes with shams, it is a bedspread, which is going to be longer so that if you want to, you can put the pillows under the spread.Also, even though it seems thinner than a traditional bedspread/comforter and you may think it is too light, it actually keeps you very warm.
