After making way too much pasta for the family twice in a row because I 'eyeballed' how much I'd need, I decided to invest in a simple gauge so I can consistently make the same amount of pasta each time. It doesn't matter to me whether one is truly one portion as other reviews say it's inaccurate - what I wanted was a way to choose '1, 2, 3, 4' and know each time that I was making the same amount of noodles.Nothing fancy but it works.It came in a two-pack so I can give one away to a friend.

Finally, I can make 1 serving of pasta. no more wasting pasta.Great gadget!!!

None of the openings were for 1lb. Of spheghetti.Maybe the large one is for 12 ozs .For some reason many recipes seem to call for twelve ounces and not pounds.

I bought this to help decide on portions so we would not waste.

Very nice, except the circle for a single serving is much too big. Actually measures something like half again the amount for one person to eat. Not at all helpful if you are trying to lose weight, or simply control your portion size.Don't know about 2, 3 or 4 portion holes, but wouldn't trust them without some way to verify the accuracy (like weighing the pasta).

Anytime I ask my husband to make some spaghetti he never knows how much to make. He always makes a half a box of spaghetti even want it is just the two of us. Would this amazing product I can tell him make spaghetti for the two of us or any guests and he'll know exactly the right amount of spaghetti to make. The porch swings are actually very correct. We don't feel like we need to eat more spaghetti then will the portion is allowing you to make.

We’ve had to make some changes since quarantine began and I love this for portion control! Great product. Nothing fancy but it does the trick! I was able to give one to mom. She loves it too!
