Good quality part.
Worked perfect for eliminating the oil cooler lines on my 1999 Chevy 350 vortec engine with 4x4. I used AC Delco filter PF 454 to give good clearance for the front drive shaft.

fits Vortec 350
Direct fit to replace the oil cooler adapter on a Vortec 350. Just keep in mind you'll need a couple of bolts to install it.

Good product
I used this to delete the oil cooler lines and factory filter adapter on a 1995 Chevy K3500 w/ 5.7 liter/350 TBI. This works great, you simply remove the factory filter housing and bolt this in place using 5/16” coarse thread bolts X 1-1/4” long w/ no washers or gaskets. The next problem you’ll have is finding the correct oil filter. In my instance I had to use an ac delco PF454 or Napa 7099. This is a shorter filter to clear the front driveshaft. Many people say the Fram PH30 will work, but it is a longer filter and will interfere with the front driveshaft on some applications. Using the PF454 or Napa 7099 my oil pressure is normal, same as before I got rid of the cooler setup. Hope this helps someone

It fixed the oil leak
My 93 Chevy Silverado 5.7 developed a huge oil leak near the oil filter and engine oil cooler connections. It looked like the old Spindletop oil gusher. Researched the problem and found this item as a solution to the problem. I also ordered the recommended bolts and the genuine AC/Delco heavy duty gasket. I took off the old oil filter housing and placed the adapter and filter in its place and bolted it up using the recommended bolts. Started the engine with fresh oil and NO More gushing oil. Problem fixed! Now the old truck is back in action and running about 50 lbs. of pressure. As mentioned by someone in a prior review, I used a Fram PH30 oil filter. The OE filter size will not fit onto this adapter's threads, it takes a 13/16" size opening.
