Great edc light
Very solid materials and easy to use controls. Fits in jeans front pocket. Because of the shape it is easy to forget that you are carrying a light.

Switch and interface takes some getting used to.
I really have grown to really like this light. The red button does not get in my way at all. Red has more range than the ultra low mode. The red will not come on accidentally in your pocket. Was not happy at first, but I was just not using/following the direction correctly. To complicated for Grandma. Nice feature of allowing you to see exact remaining voltage. Throws a very wide beam so it doesn't throw a couple of football fields. Nice size that feels good in the hand. Light feels very sturdy.

Seemed really good, but stopped working after a few weeks
This is a well-built flashlight. The case is all metal and feels solid in your hand. It is bright when you need it to be, but with several modes, you can choose the brightness you want. I work as a home inspector and the flashlight is my most important tool. I use it daily and it was working well for the first few weeks, then it just stopped working. Nothing. Charged the battery, tried it again. Nothing. I am very disappointed that after less than a month a $100+ flashlight is dead. In the end, this is not the quality item I thought it was.

Poor button design
I love every thing about this flashlight except the fact that the activation switch is sometimes intermittent at best. The light is extremely bright. It's built like a tank. It fits extremely well in my hand and is very comfortable. The pocket clip is very sturdy and secure. The light is fantastic except.....The switch is junk. It works perfectly sometimes and others it doesn't work at all. The most frequent thing it does is switch to strobe mode for no reason. I can press it all the way in and it only changes modes instead of turning off/on.It's just a horrible design in general. Even when everything is functioning and cycling properly it is still cumbersome. You change modes based on how you depress it half way and how long you hold it there. Quick taps, full depress, half depress, half press and hold ... It's just not a good design. I wish I could wire in a different switch.I'm going to look into claiming a warranty on it because when it was brand new it wasn't so bad. It activated/deactivated much better. The half press mode change was consistently in the same place and it was smooth. Now it doesn't slide smoothly and the half press changes or doesn't even work.I can't recommend anyone buy this with such a glaring fault. I went against my better judgment after reading about these problems and gave it a try anyways. I was hoping I'd get lucky and have a better experience.I'm really disappointed because I love everything about the light but if it doesn't work when I need it then what good is it?

Compact and powerful
I use this at work.Light has two buttons, one of them is for a small red light. The main button controls intesity and strobes. The button is silent and it is kind of hard to know when you've reached a particular level. For instance, you can set the light at a lower intesity level but if you wanted to go the next higher level, you need to push the button half way down and sometimes you just can't tell by touch alone, due to the button being completely silent, there's no "clickety" feel to it whatsoever. It is as heavy as my other NiteCore light, an MH12S but, decided to get this model as it is shorter and the belt clip is way sturdier than the MH12S which comes off way too easily.

Form and brightness
The size is great and the light is handy for EDC with true brightness.

Button stuck
It was a great flashlight until all of a sudden the button get stuck in the on position…. I have only had it a year… you would think you would get more than a year out of a $100 flashlight
