My partner found the flavor bitter, but he was totally amazed at how delicious lines and other sour fruits tasted, so he said it was worth it. I have really been enjoying using the frooties instead of the dried miracle berries themselves because they don’t have the husk that Miracle berries do which get stuck in the teeth. Unfortunately I just found out today that Frooties have maltodextrin which cause sugar spikes and gas problems and studies have shown it can lead to Crohn’s disease. I urge this company to change to using Stevia instead, which does not have these problems. I’m still considering what I should do about this. To start I will be looking for other sources of the berry tablets without maltodextrin. I will also call the company to urge them to get rid of the maltodextrin. I would hold the Frooties tablets in mouth for 3 minutes and there was always a great sweetening effect…no time, no dime! It has worked for everyone I shared them with. If you want less sweet effect you can hold the berries just for a minute, or if time is short. And I cut the Frooties berries in half and they still worked at half the cost, if held for one to 3 minutes on tongue. Will be getting my first order of this other brand, the “mberry” in this week, but I’m thinking they should work the same money saving way when using them halved - I will add a comment to the contrary here if they don’t. I always carry them when I go out, and I’ve never have to have a Coke at a restaurant that is made from the bottom of the dispenser barrel so they’re barely sweet!

Everyone had fun. I think Limes were my favorite. The tablets have a mild taste, like eating chalk. Not really gross but not good either. They take a real long time to dissolve too. Once you have a tablet, try anything sour. Grapes, limes, lemons, dark chocolate, plain yogurt maybe.

They work wonderfully. Helps me enjoy a grapefruit without any added sugars. Delicious

Despite researching for an hour for products in this category and settling on this given the reviews, for a fun party, it was a complete and utter disappointment at the party I brought this to. At $25 I wouldn't say this is an inexpensive product - infact I passed on much cheaper products that had similar ratings because I wanted to ensure this atleast worked. I can handle instructions and boy did I follow instructions after each and every tablet landed one disappointment after the other. I really hoped my genetics was at fault. I really hoped the genetics of my family members were at fault. When these tablets failed to have any effect on a party that had people all over the world, of all ethnicity and walks in life, I had enough evidence that this was a junk product. Now don't get me wrong - it's not completely ineffective. You just have to put in the whole - yes, the whole pack, of tablets into your mouth and swirl the whole mouthful around for a minute for it to turn tangy citrus into sweet syrup in your mouth. Since I had bought enough packets for a whole party and enough citrus drinks to go alongwith it, again for a whole party, that's precisely what I and a good friend of mine ended up doing so the money wouldn't go to waste. It does do what it promises to do - just not at the one or two tablet quantity. You need to consume the whole blister pack to have a real desired effect.
