Anti fatigue, anti shock - I own two pair of these. One pair for my work boots (12 hour factory shifts) and the other pair in my running shoes. The Walker Runner is much more comfortable and stable to use. This is my tenth year using Spenco inserts and I like these the best by far. They are so thick that they take up all the head room in the toe box of all my other shoes. So much so that I only use them for the work boots. Advice : If you are mainly trying to treat a bottom heel issue (bone spur/ PF) get these , and if you're trying to treat an injured Achilles tendon (been there) , then get the spenco CrossTrainers , as the later ones have more elevation in the heel area while these have a deeper heel cup. Better to order 7-8 or 9-10?** A: The Women's 9-10 would probably be your best bet. It is better to have an insole that is a little too long and properly cradles your heel than one which is too short and narrow. The insoles are trimmable; if the insoles are a little long, you can trim the length to fit your shoe (video demonstration of trimming an insole: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QOh1S_2x1k ). **Q: how much space do they taek up in your shoe?** A: Based on my use of these inserts for the past ten years, they take up an additional 1/2 a shoe size. If your normal shoe size is let say 10, go up to a 10 1/2 for the use of these insoles. **Q: will mens size work for womens size 11** A: A women's size 11 will be a men's size 10. These are unisex, so there is no difference in width. You will need a women's 11-12 which is also a men's 10-11. They can be trimmed to accommodate the lower size. **Q: Which is better superfeet green or spenco polysorb walker/runner athletic? which one has the thicker forefoot?** A: I have never tried superfeet green, but I have tried spenco polysorb as well as the doctor scholls active series. This is something that you may have to experiment with and try different insoles. You are already better off by replacing the stock insoles that come with the shoes. Not everyone has the same foot or the same foot issues, so this will be a choice that is highly individualistic. I have now purchased and returned three other brands that advertised that they fit a size 15 and were between 0.50-inch and 0.72-inch too short for the shoe.
