Cuts bamboo like butter
I inherited three large patches of bamboo at my new house. I want to utilize the bamboo for stalking and fences. It cuts So easily and uniformly.Highly recommend. Definitely take good care of the blade. Clean off after use and I recommend to get WD40 or some other rust retardant to coat after cleaning to prolong the life.Highly recommend

Perfect for cutting bamboo!
This sliced through my bamboo stalks with no problem at all! Some I have are over 2 inches in diameter and it was a beautiful easy clean cut! So very happy to have this!

Good Product.
We have lots of bamboo in our yard both green and dry and this cuts through all really well. I am, however, having trouble being able to order extra blades.

Learn to Use, Careful with Thin Acrylic
I bought this saw for plastics to cut a 2mm acrylic sheet to fit a painting frame. The good news: it does cut acrylic, much faster than the acrylic cutters I've bought that basically score lines in it, but never deep enough, no matter how many passes, to snap the waste piece off. The bad news: acrylic pieces snap off after about 1.5" of cutting, mostly to the "outside" (towards the waste piece), but sometimes to the "inside," resulting in some very craggy edges and fault lines running towards the painting. The resulting uneven edge required some rough sanding just to smooth the sharp points that might hurt someone. The craggy edges were small enough to hide under the frame, but a couple of the fault lines still show over the painting. Lots of work for a very sloppy looking result. To be fair, this tool like any other requires training to use properly. Tips:--Hold saw at a 45 degree angle to the surface being cut.--Use a light touch.--Pull down and backwards (from the bottom), not up and backwards (from the top). (I watched a "how to" video to learn this one.)Maybe a more experienced person would know how to cut thin acrylic sheets with this saw without creating uncontrolled crags and fault lines. Room for another "how to" video!

Excellent For Bamboo
We brought this to cut dead, thick, hard bamboo. It cuts four times as fast and easy as our other saws. Recommend

Made tree trimming a breeze
We have an unruly pomegranate tree in our backyard that hadn’t been trimmed by the previous owners for many years. I purchased this saw so I could do an extensive pruning and take control of the untamed monster. This song may quick work of the process, and it only took me a few hours in the afternoon to cut off some large trunks. Very pleased with the product.

Highly useful, flexible and sharp; very versatile
I love this small light weight, sharp saw even better than my much more expensive longer and heavier ones. It is the only saw I (a 70-year-old woman) can use to cut down difficult to reach bamboo stalks in the bamboo grove that I have been pruning back because of wind/fire/rat concerns. Thus far, I have eliminated over 150 enormous stalks (which are over 35 feet in length and 3-5 inches in diameter). I usually start with a larger saw and switch to this small, light-weight gem when I am about 2/3s through. I love the fact that it is very flexible; even the handle can be bent. It is very sharp and has better teeth than my other much more expensive saws.

Perfect for bamboo
This has been perfect for cutting bamboo, make the job so much easier. It's lightweight, cuts thru it like it's butter. Appreciate that it has a protective cover as well.

The right saw for the job
At last, a saw designed for the job. Only the Japanese could come up with a blade that makes the annual thinning of my ever increasing black bamboo so quick and EASY. I only went out to test it and within half an hour the job was done. The tiny teeth, so different from a classic pruning saw, cut cleanly through each cane in three cuts without leaving a ragged edge. I am genuinely impressed. Love a tool that's made for a specific task.

Lame de rechange ?
Article très efficace pour couper des bambous. Mais la lame s'use très rapidement. Comment s'en procurer une autre ?
