OK as a basic driving map but does not give the detail found for example in OS maps in the UK. This map covers main roads but omits smaller side lanes and tracks, and it's hard to get a feel of the geography of the terrain including the whereabouts of any walking routes. We chose this map however because there are no other maps to similar scale, as far as we are aware, which have been updated in recent years.A previous Amazon reviewer said the map did not include the new M3 through the centre of the island but as far as we can establish from Google maps there is no M3! We assume that reviewer meant the M2 which is included.

We took this map with us on holiday. As general ideas of where places are, this map is ok. But when we wanted to visit interesting places and wanted to find how to get there by roads, this map became helpless. I thought Mauritius's roads are simple enough like what illustrated on this map. But there are so many little lanes which are not put on this map. Even not the efficient routes or necessary routes. GPS navigation is needed in there.

This is a clear map with plenty of useful information in it. I can recommend it

Very good map generally, with many supplementary plans of areas of special interest. However it does not show the new M3 motorway (which I believe was opened late 2013 or early 2014) through the centre of the island.
