Works great for 2.8L Duramax Engine (Dexos 2 / Dexos D)
Go down the rabbit hole if you want. I found that this is a top-tier oil and meets the low-SAPs(low ash, so as to not load the DPF) requirement for Dexos 2. Now that they've pulled plug on Dexos 2 and it's just Dexos D I don't know...all I know is this oil has a good reputation and I'm sticking with it.

Excellent Engine Oil for Audi diesel – Works Great

Good oil, good for diesel engines
Using this in my 2014 Mercedes ML 3.0-TD Bluetec.Mobil ESP has all required Mercedes certifications (229.51-229.52) for diesel engines. Changing once a year or every 7-8K miles and 140K engine runs like new.
