Very small storage space
Very easy to use. Able to process every little bit of the garlic clove! Also like the herb leaf stripper function. More than one function tool. Takes up very little space to store.

Works well
This gadget does take a bit of pressure. I put the heel of each hand on each end of the press and rock it back and forth a couple times. You'll have nicely minced garlic. Not hard to clean out the holes, just run it under a hard stream of water. I thought the little rubber garlic clove peeler sleeve would be useless, but it works! Put the clove inside, roll it back and forth on the counter with your palm, pressing down firmly, then when you tip the clove out the garlic skin remains inside! Rinse it out and you're done. No more stinky fingers!

Works, just not pressed as fine
I like the faster prep time and easier clean-up compared to conventional garlic press, but just understand that you are still getting larger chunks -not pressed level. You won't waste nearly as much garlic with this. The included holes for peeling spices is a great plus and works beautifully on fresh rosemary. The included freebie peeler is garbage.

More waste and harder to clean than a ceramic garlic plate
I don't like traditional garlic presses because the little holes always seemed to clog, but I love my ceramic garlic plate. Garlic plates are easy to use, easy to clean, and attractive, but there is always a little nub of a few millimeters where I'm holding the garlic clove. I thought this rocking press may eliminate that. This rocking garlic press is easy to use and sturdy, although the holes are much larger than I imagined they would be. A garlic plate perfectly turns a clove into fine paste, but this rocking press dices it. It does eliminate the nub waste with a garlic plate, but it creates even more waste because its large holes are now filled with garlic, at least half a cloves' worth, and you can't pick it out easily. Skip this gimmicky tool and yourself a ceramic garlic plate!

It’s very tiny so it requires brute strength
It is was an utter waste of time and money. It is very tiny 4”x2” at best, so it requires a substantial amount of brute strength to press town hard enough, then it roll both ways. But even then it would not go all the way through the garlic. I’m no wimp and I threw a lot into it, but I still had to cut the garlic cloves in half first and even then, it still only went partially through the garlic. Manybe hald way through it, so the cloves stuck to this thing and had to be cut off. I then had to use a tooth pick to push the small portion of garlic out of it. For the price, I was expecting something much closer to 7-8” so the leverage would be much more substantial as with enough leverage to make any resistance to be much less, but no, it is far too small for that… Utter waste of money and I don’t know what else it might be good for… A paper weight maybe to help me remember things are not always what they are advertised to be, and sometimes they do not work at all as expected . It should have come with some kind of hard rubber press thru cleaner pad to clear all the holes at once…it takes time & patience to clear one clogged hole at a time. Ease of cleaning is zero

Works great. Just wear an apron so you don't get garlic juice on yourself. Ha!
I really like this thing. The sleeve works well for peeling the husks off, and the press is very efficient and much easier to clean than a standard garlic press. I squirted a bunch of garlic juice on myself when I used it, so from now on I'll wear an apron! But it's totally worth it, in my opinion. It does produce larger chunks than the paste or mince of a standard garlic press, but that's fine w/me. If you cross-press the garlic a couple of times it produces more of a paste or fine mince, if that's what you want. It's still easier to use and clean than a standard garlic press.

Great garlic press!
Update: After some trial and error, I now love this garlic press! It’s the only one I use. There is some learning curve. Here’s what I’ve discovered:It is easier if you smash the clove with the side of a knife first. This is an easy way to remove the skin anyway.I’ve also found it helpful to place the garlic on a plate instead of the counter. You want a lot of leverage to press down on the cloves. You can actually press several cloves at a time without scraping off the garlic from the underside. The press will cut through the thin inner skin of the clove (not the paper skin). So you can just keep pressing through one clove after another. It’s really important to rock it back and forth, to work the press through the cloves. If you use it correctly, you will have hardly any garlic remaining in the little holes, and then just use the brush and water to clean it easily.***This garlic press is very different from the one I used to have, which has the little opening to put the clove inside and then you press the handles together. I think this one works fine, but I would probably recommend it as an alternative, and not your main garlic press. So #1, yes, the holes are much bigger than a traditional garlic press. I am fine with that. You can always mince what you've pressed with a knife if you want smaller pieces. One thing I don't care for is that it leaves a lot of the garlic on the underside of the press. So even after you've scraped off the garlic you pressed, there is still a lot of garlic in the holes and on the bottom of the press. You have to peel off the remaining piece of garlic, and there's still a good amount of garlic; it's not just the "skin." So I ended up mincing that up and using it.I like that it's easy to clean because they give you a little brush to clean out the holes. And I like the way you can rock the press to really squeeze out the garlic. What I didn't like is the amount of garlic I felt like I was throwing away, or else having to mince it. I think it's a great alternative, but I'm still on the hunt to replace my original garlic press.

Not as effective as I had hoped
Seems well made and it's easy enough to use, and easy to clean as well but it doesn't really do the best job of mincing garlic. It mostly just smashes it, and you have to be careful when pressing on the cloves so that they don't slide out from underneath the press. I definitely think that there are better designs out there to get the job done.

Fabulous!
I loathe fiddling about with garlic presses and detest cleaning them afterwards. This is quick and easy to use, doesn't leave you with lumps in the press to gouge out and is very easy to clean. Gosh I love this

Perfection!
Awesome! I highly recommend it. It’s one piece so shouldn’t fall apart, very sturdy and sharp. Perfect, I love it, every home should have one!
