55-Series Washdown Pump Kit - 12V DC, 5.5 GPM, 70 PSI, Self-Priming, Coiled Hose, Spray Nozzle, High Flow for RV, Boat, Off-Grid, Freshwater, and Saltwater Applications 4-Year Warranty

I used this unit 3 times on the 4th use it would not shut off and would not maintain constant pressure. There were no leaks but it seamed as though it was sucking air some how. I checked all connections and tightend all the pump screws with no fix to the problem. (UPDATE): SELLER REACHED OUT TO ME. After my review the seller of this product reached out to me apologizing for my unfortunately experience with their product and quickly offered a remedy with no questions asked. With in a couple days I had a brand new kit to replace my malfunctioning one. This speaks volumes to the integrity of the seller and their commitment to their customers. They have gained my support. This is my third water pump from seaflo and only one has had an issue. That being said I feel this is a good quality unit and would certainly recommend them, especially because of the support. With the quick response and dedication to correct the issues i'm sure the one that had an issue was just a fluke.

Using for wash down for anchor and chain, pumps salt water without complaining working great so far. Used daily for 4 weeks

Initially I was impressed by the product as it appeared to be of good quality and craftsmanship. I connected the unit to a 210g portable tank with a 3/4” x 24”L hose directly to the pump. Powered off a tractor 12v system, the unit does not put out 5.5gpm. I was able to fill a 1g container in 34 seconds which equates to about 1.76gpm. I tried the unit with a water supply coming off a structure with the same result. It’s very disappointing when you spend this kind of money only to be let down. My hope was to post a nice video to show others the versatility of the pump in various applications. I’ve used Johnson, Shurflo and Jabsco wash down pumps in the past with better results. Also, this appears to be a pump only unit and did not come with a sprayer. I was able to adapt an older sprayer but the ad is misleading.

This has been a life saver for our tritoon. We use this to spray off our boat after each trip. It’s strong enough to get the sand off the floor which is a huge bonus for us. Super easy to assemble. The only issue we had was a fuse blew the first use, just make sure you keep extras on hand just in case of that.

Unit looks good and installs easily however check your hose inside diameter. This unit only has 1/2” hose barbs. All my hoses in several boats over the last 20 years have always been 3/4” so you’ll have to order those adapters separately. Seams to have good power and volume of water consistent with spec claims on the box. The final review would be longevity of the pump in salt water

The pump works perfectly and is always ready when I need it. I look forward to years of service!

Using one of these as a demand pump in an RV application is just like being connected to City water. They move a similar amount of water and pressure as the spigot on the side of a home. Drop a hose on the suction side of this pump in a 50 gallon drum and a standard garden sprayer easily sprays 60 ft or more. We have four of these pumps on various applications. One of them has thousands of hours on it running outside in the elements in a commercial application. All the color has faded off from the sun but the pump is still running strong.

Works great

Hubby went on a fishing trip and he and the gang loved this. No having to hang over the side of the boat to scoop up buckets of sea water to wash away fish debris. It enhances safety on the open waters! A must have for the fisherman in your life! happy fishing.

tidy bit of kit. good pressure and used in saltwater for my boat. still going well. havent flushed it out with fresh water for over several months and still works.

Sprays easily 30 feet. Has enough pressure to clean fish junk off the floor with . I replaced the nozzle to a dramm. The one it comes with is kinda dollar store but thats ok . The kit was affordable. The hose is good .

I bought this as a replacement for an RV water pump. I may have bought too large a unit but bigger is better, right? I looked at several choices before purchasing, and SeaFlo seems to be associated with good quality. The value for the specifications of the pump are good. I would not expect the pump to be noisier or harder to install than any other choices.

pump stopped working GARBAGE
