Exact part I needed
I lost reverse gear out on the water due to frayed cable sheathing. I was able to jury-rig a repair, but obviously needed to replace the cable. I removed the old cable and measured it (14'), so that the new one would be a perfect fit, then ordered this one.Although it was a lot of work to extract the old cable from the control bundle (and to rebundle the cables with fresh split loom), the cable itself was easy to install at its endpoints. It is a great value, but only time will tell the tale of its durability.
