Tripod or Monopod Mount for Apple iPad Mini, Amazon Kindle Fire, Nexus 7, Other 7-8" Tablets (Tripod / Monopod is not included)

I've used this product a great deal for my iPad mini, and I've had absolutely no problem with it. I'll be honest, it worries me sometimes that a few plastic pieces are suspending my iPad mini six feet in the air, but it's done nothing to lose my trust. As some have mentioned, the pieces are detachable in order to fit various phones and tablets, and by nature, there are small pieces to be lost. But I keep all the pieces in the provided ziplock bag inside a pocket in my tripod case, so that shouldn't be a problem. Overall, it's been AWESOME, and I would highly recommend it to all my friends. BUY IT.

I'm working on several short skits and eventually a feature length film using my iPad Mini as a camera, so this is exactly what I needed. The packaging is decieving, when I got it in the mail I thought "There's no way this tiny package has a mount in it," but it does! It works for the iPad Mini, as well as several other similarly sized tablets. I have an Otterbox Defender Case on my iPad Mini, and the clamps stretch out to it just fine-- which was something I was initially worried about when I first set it up. You need to mix and match the attachable clamps to the mount accordingly. It fits great on my tripod and monopod. So if you're looking for a great iPad Mini/tablet mount for your tripod or monopod, get this one! I'll definitely be ordering another one of these for my monopod.

It is not exactly what I expected, but it does work, and it was inexpensive.I like that I can use either my iPhone or iPad mini to record, not that I carry around a tripod and mount without the anticipation of using my iPhone over my iPad.I have a smart cover on my iPad and it kind of works with it, but I just pop my iPad out and use it that way. I think if you have a case that does not have a cover you will not have any issues.

This attaches to my existing tripod just fine with the standard screw hole. I used it with my iPad mini with an Otterbox Defender case on it. It fit with no problems. My only complaint is that the holders feel kind of cheap. I just use care when putting the iPad in and out of the holder. I also make sure I keep the adjustments tightened when not holding on the the tripod since the iPad is pretty heavy and will tilt if the adjustments aren't fairly tight.

This is a cool little holder! Have had it for awhile and just recently the threads have stripped so now we cant use it :( Lasted for a good while though holding our phones or iPad mini to shoot family videos and pictures. Other than the threads (maybe my fault?) it is well made and feels sturdy!

The item arrived in a very small envelope...much too small to hold the product I was ordering so that made me think "oh, no. There's a problem." When I opened it up, it was just a bag of loose parts. NOTHING was put together. Instructions were minimal and it became more of a puzzle to try and figure it out. Thin plastic pieces and it is only a matter of time until it breaks. Based on the other reviews, I expected a quality product.

I use this to mount my Nexus on top of my camera via the hotshoe with an additional adapter and all seems good. A little flimsy but when I do this the camera is on a tripod so I am not too worried about it. In the future I may get a better mount if I continue to use the Nexus in my photography but it will work for now.

I bought this mount and thought it would work for my iPad, the regular size one. I cannot figure out if I'm not using this mount right, or if it doesn't hold the regular size ipad. It does not extend to where the clamps would fit around it. I cannot find out how to contact the seller to ask if I bought the right mount. The tripod works great....noe to get the mount working and I can start taping tutorials. Thanks in advance for help.

I ordered this item for my iPad and then realised I had ordered the wrong item as this was for an iPad mini. I contacted the MountGuys and without hesitation they sent me a replacement item at no charge to suit my iPad! No fuss, no messing just Great Service and it arrived before Christmas even though I only contacted them a week or so earlier given that these products are dispatched from the USA.Hard to beat!Thank you MountGuysDavid

Bought this for my 10-year-old son to make stop-motion videos. He's not especially rough but it was broken within the month. For an older, more careful person, it would be ok, but it's not robust.

This attachment seems fine, holds the ipad in place so it can be used on the tripod and is easy to fit..

This product is rubbish ! It is low quality and does not fit the ipad Mini ! It is too small ! If you are in the uk do not buy it because the company is in the states and it takes 2 weeks to arrive. Total waste of money.

This mount does exactly what it says on the tin, holds securely and easy to use.I would recommend the product.
