This unit was straight out of well packed box slid directly into shower and worked immediatly. Needed a bit of adjustment to get sensible temperature because factory setting did not give temp it showed. Comes with own new control knob which is bonus, Unit as worked now for 3 months never missed a beat, good value compared with throwing a whole shower unit away.

It is a perfect fit even though the measurements state 6.4cm from the handle when my old one and this one is actually more 6.1cm.It went in pretty well but the screw was a little fiddly, got there in the end. Temperature isn't set correctly but you can fit it, test it first then if an issue, pop the black end off using small flathead screwdriver, unscrew the screw using a Philips screwdriver (usually the case as mine was) then you can pop off the head and adjust to the correct temp using a thermometer or what you think is the right temp if not.

Bought this to replace the unit in a Pain bar type bath mixer that had failed. This was an excellent fit was very easy to install and great that it came pre calibrated to 38Deg, all the easier for fitting perfectly and has improved performance. Suits fitting with grub screw located on underside of tap body.

Poor quality. Mixer stopped working. Just get full hot or cold now.

Excellent easy to install

If you have a bar shower and you can increase the temperature, but find it’s very stiff when trying to reduce, then your thermostat has seized up and you need to replace. I tried WD40, silicone of what I thought were moving parts and even soaking it in limescale remover. It didn’t work. I replaced with this item and it’s been working perfectly for over 2 weeks now.Would have got 5 stars if the temperate has been properly calibrated like they advertise. At 33 deg on the dial, it’s actually 38-40deg in real life.

Was not set at 38 degrees had to set it ourselves otherwise OK.
