These are much stronger and compact than the flimsy brittle plastic hangers that are common these days. So I replaced my whole closet with these, which allow more items. The only problem I started running into is availability of this heavier gauge item. So get them while you can.

I wanted nice thick gold hangers. These were the standard grey metal hangers. I was very disappointed.CC of Columbus

Most of the hangers are strong, but quality is inconsistent. About 10% of the hangers have only one or two twists at the top, and these are more likely too loosen and unwravel at some point. I recycled the defective hangers. The product is not cheap so I feel that I should not come across any bad hangers.

These hangers are not gold colored wire - They are bronze which makes them look like the thin hangers from the cleaners that we toss out. Without holding it next to the thin hanger, because the color is the same, it's easy to mistake these for the cheaper hangers. Hope we don't make a mistake and throw these out intead. Would be much better if they were gold or chrome like those sold in the 6 packs from Wal Mart. At 80 Cents each I'm going to be unhappy if these get tossed by mistake. They are large and the same guage as the GOLD and CHROME hangers I've purchased in the past.

"Nobody makes things like they used to." Thing is, this company still does. I'm a mechanical engineer who's downright fanatical about quality. These are fantastic heavy duty hangers, and they look it. I'm so pleased that I just ordered 50 more after opening these. Buy them while you can!

Our household has a hanger hoarding problem, and the good ones especially disappear. I introduced these into the mix so we could have some for laundry day, and get rid of the cheap, skinny, bent and peeling ones. These are 11.5 gauge wire, which means 2.18mm thick. A common dry cleaner hanger runs 14.5 gauge / 1.5mm or thinner. These will hold up heavy coats and wet clothing. The finish is a bronze / old gold hue.

The hangers arrived when expected and were heavy duty as promised. Sure makes my closet look a lot better since hangers are all uniform in type and do not sag. Since the wife took part of my hangers I had to order another 100 hangers.
