This kit comes with lots of loops in various colors so you can make several potholders/crafts without having to buy more loops. I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter because I remember how much fun I had as a kid making these potholders, and my daughter had enjoyed making them too. Would definitely buy this again!

Purchased for my niece for Christmas! Talk about nostalgia from my younger years making these in elementary school! Super cute, and tons of materials! Not sure who had more fun, her or I?!

Loops are fine. Took off a star because it doesn't include black loops

This is a reasonable starter kit for weaving potholders, though the frame is not very sturdy, and the pins are a bit pointy and could break off easily. There is a good variety of loop colors, though some of them are small in size, and don't fit or don't fit easily on the frame. We could stretch some of them out, but using them might be a challenge and discouraging for some children. The hook is fine. Instructions are basic - a few more illustrations for kids might have been helpful. I had issues with the packaging. I had ordered 2 to give to two kids as gifts, but Amazon took one out of its box, so I received one box, and the contents of the other box. It probably made packaging a bit easier, but was confusing and not what I expected or ordered. This item is probably fine for use a few times, but I don't expect it to last long before it breaks.

I bought it for my grand daughter she is 6, she liked it we had to help her at first but with a little help she is managing, and practice she'll get it. The size was bigger than I expected good surprise. When I saw it on the site it reminded me of the one I had when I was a little girl, and it reminded me how I enjoyed mine back then.

The plastic weaving hook breaks. I have ordered two weaving loom kits, they are both now non-functional. You cannot find a metal hook which is the same size anywhere. Horizon did not respond to my request for a replacement hook. I would have paid for it.

My 8 year old loves this however the instructions only have 3 items to make but the box says 25, I can’t find instructions anywhere online for the other projects. Also the instructions are quite confusing but luckily we were able to look up some instruction videos others have posted on YouTube.
