Mix & Match Concession Express Gallon Pure Cane Sno-Cone Syrup, No High Fructose Corn Syrup - W/Pumps (Case Of Four)

I bought this brand of snowcone syrup because the sweetener used is sugar and not high fructose corn syrup. This purchase was for treats for my high school students at the end of the school year. I chose strawberry, tropical mango, piña colada and grape flavors. Strawberry was the favorite followed by piña colada, then tropical mango, then grape. Two full pumps of syrup was plenty of flavor for a 5 ounce cup of shaved ice which was rounded at the top over the rim of the cup like a traditional snow cone. I let the kids choose their 2 pumps, but I did the pumping to keep it neat. Using the pumps took a little getting used to and I found using slow downward pressure on the pumps worked best to contain messiness. I didn't have any issue with the pumps leaking. Make sure the pumps are screwed on tightly on the gallon bottle and at the top of the pump base where the pump tubing goes up and down. I think this is what prevented leaks some reviewers mention. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase although I might try making my own flavored syrup before ordering again. I'm not sure if I could make my own syrup cheaper, factoring in the cost of my own labor. All in all, the convenience seems worth the cost.

Enough to make snow ones for over 280 people with lots of syrup left over. Flavors were delicious and well liked by all guests.

I have been making my own carbonated water for over a year now and absolutely LOVE it and have saved a ton of money doing it this way. I buy CO2 10 lbs at a time, which costs me $20 and lasts me almost 6 months (3 liters of water/day). You do the math, makes drinking carbonated water super cheap.On to the syrup. After spending lots of money on different "designer flavor syrups" specifically sold for carbonated water, I stumbled into the idea of using Snow cone syrup. So much cheaper than the brands that are targeting "SodaStream" users.This is my second brand of snow cone syrups that I have tried. I ordered the 4 pack of one gallon of each of these flavors:Flavor 1 : Tropical MangoFlavor 2 : Blue RaspberryFlavor 3 : Lemon-LimeFlavor 4 : Tigers BloodAbsolutely a home run! One pump per liter and it tastes great and is a very reasonable price! The fact that these syrups are made with Cane Sugar and not high fructose corn syrup or even worse, artificial sweeteners, is a HUGE plus for me.All in all, very happy with these and will be buying more.2 Thumbs up for Value and Taste.
