I used these on my shingled house to string icicle lights and it was surprisingly easy! When they arrived I was like, what the??? But the install was so simple! It attaches to the bottom of the shingle, and it is a snug fit. I suggest you open them to loosen it a little before attempting to attach to the shingle. Once installed across the house, I just attached the string of lights onto it no problem! Everything is straight with no chance of anything falling off. I'm glad I purchased these.

Nothing they were exactly what I was hoping for...

These worked really well once I used my needle-nosed pliers to enlarge the clip opening a little so it would attach to my porch edges. They were hard to take down also, until I learned to turn the clip sideways to loosen it from the edge. I don't think these clips would have worked for me if I hadn't been able to touch the edges on a ladder. But I got my Christmas lights up and so I'm happy.

I ordered these before going out to look at my gutters and unfortunately they didn't work for the type I have. The lip of my gutters is kind of a triangle with the top section about 1/2 in long so these ones weren't big enough to clip over that section. If your gutters lip is relatively flat then these would clip easily.These are sturdy and seem like they would work well for lights and last a while. Just make sure you check your gutters beforehand unlike I did.

I used these clips for outdoor string lights and they were easy to use, sturdy and clip on different things plus gutters. They are not seen since they are clear so it doesn't take away from the look of the lights. My husband said they will be good to use in other applications also.

So - they're light clips for gutters.Not the most exciting product out there - but pretty important around this time of year.The local brick & mortar shops were sold out - so I took a chance and ordered these clips.They worked perfectly!I live in a townhouse - so we're obviously not allowed to go nailing, screwing or drilling into any part of the outside of our house.I was looking for sturdy clips that I could hang on my gutter to put up Christmas lights and decided to give these a try after a previous order didn't fit properly due to our gutter having a screen on top.I was able to VERY easily clip these under our soffit - and they are securely fastened, and perfectly hold the icicle lights under the roof/gutter even in severe weather.If you're looking to hang holiday lights and are looking for a non-destructive solution that is affordable and works well - look no further than these clips.

Worked great. Once you get the “hang” of how they clip onto the gutter it’s smooth sailing.
