Difficult to imagine nicer wood
Straight grain black walnut, square and to size, no low spots, very near perfection. Highly recommend!

Decent Quality
This was decent quality walnut and true to advertised dimensions but wasn't very square. For what I was using it for square was important but squaring it up cost me a little over 1/16" in each direction. I'd buy again.
