A set of simple and applicable actions to build habits
From the word “Revolution” in the title I was expecting a bit of scientific information that would back up the concept of behavior modification through small habit building. This book did not provide such information, it actually was very clear within the first few chapters about what it will not include. It would have been a good addition that would have validated the objective of the book. Aside from that point the book was simple and short, it provided the steps it promised and was very clear through real life examples. Perhaps the chapters had more filler that they needed to have in order to justify a book but it provides sound and applicable methods to achieve building simple habits. I recommend this book for anyone trying to achieve more personal goals, especially those who don’t know where to start.

To the point
I enjoyed reading this book. It gets straight to the point and not a lot of fluff.I have started working on three small changes.

Humbling but habit forming
I got Damon's Time Chunking Method a while back and it was great, but I think this is even more of a game changer. I am one of those guys that gets super motivated to do something, I buy all of the stuff I need or write my master plan out, I go big and try to change my habits by force and... like a rubber band I snap back to my old habits after a few days. Sucks. But Damon's book takes a completely different approach to building habits that is so easy that it almost feels rediculous. Whether you want to start journaling, or if you want to do 100 push-ups, the key to making the habit stick is by doing a small piece of the bigger habit. If you want to do 100 push-ups by the end of the year start by doing 1 per day this week, and then increase by 2 more push-ups every following week. I have already been doing more except using every day because of this book. It's amazing. My only recommendation is that you get comfortable with the idea of starting very small at the beginning. It is humbling, but if you want a habit to stick this is the way to do it.

Some very good ideas.
I chose this book to kick-start a workout habit. 23 continuous days and I haven't talked myself out of exercising once. I also like blocking15 minutes for tasks. Started weeding - for only 15 minutes - and finished a flower bed 45 minutes later. It is all about making a task small so your brain does not get overwhelmed.

Teaches Old Dog New Tricks
I’m 75. I was an executive until retirement at 65, and then became an executive coach. Over the years I was helping people learn on to change their behavior. Now I have a powerful weapon in Small Habits that a. taught me a heck of a lot of new techniques, and b. enables me to teach others by having THEM downloading on their Kindle for just a few bucks.Win and Win!The biggest thing I learned was the right starting point to create a new habit - START TINY. Then there is almost no resistence to NOT trying it.

Worth the Money
I debated whether to give this book 4 or 5 stars. If you value conciseness, then you will find this book to be 5-stars. The only reason I gave this book 4-stars was I have also read Atomic Habits which I think is an excellent book...though a longer book. If you want conciseness, get this book.

It works!
I love Damon’s books. They are so easy to read with straightforward instructions on how to deal with common problems. I have already begun to use the small habit system and have more faith than ever that I will be able to stick to whatever habit I want to do in my life. I have always been a hostage of procrastination, laziness, and would always punish myself for not doing the most basic things. Now that I see them as habits rather than chores, tasks or things I have to do, it’s a lot easier for me to do things that before seemed impossible. Thanks Damon for giving me this key to a better life.

Simple Habits Made Simple
I loved the actionable tasks behind that simplify the negative mindset that the process of creating a habit could create with second guessing yourself, procrastination and forgetfulness.

Loved it at first but then.......
The book was a real opener from the start and the way the chapters just flowed really appealed to me, which meant a quick read (finished within a day of delivery) and every chapter had depth, but then I reached the end part and the whole dimension of the book just turned and made for a very diminishing read... for a start I must of read about the author doing push ups about 15 times throughout the book! And the fact that each time he mentioned it, he wrote it like it was the first time he had mentioned it..Then if your a fan of numbers and keeping track great, but if not it felt like a very demanding perfection considering it's all written in plain context ie this then that then this, I think a better context in the last part would be in bullet points. As much as I've taken a slight new approach to having a different outlook and habit setting thinking already (at work and daily routine) and as much as it was a good read.Although the end part can be a little turn off considering most things are mentioned again and again and the layout could be better as I mentioned above.

I loved this book
I loved this book. It was packed with practical advice on how to adopt new habits. He explains things really clearly and concisely, based on a depth of research, and in a very readable style. I felt like it was packed with nuggets of distilled, useful information. For example, I've read whole books on decision making, and not found them very memorable or easy to adopt. Damon sets out the six habits he adopted for becoming more decisive in just a couple of pages, and they instantly struck home and are very easy to practice. It is the book equivalent of drinking a vitamin smoothie!

Practical and to the point
Very useful book. I like the author’s writing style, which is succinct with practical action points. It helped me understand the motivation between forming small habits that can build to routines, and linking the new action to something that is already embedded in my routine. I also linked small regular habits with a reward, which worked very successfully for me.

Brilliant Book!
Although the writer is a bit repetitive in his examples I still found this book to be extremely helpful. Makes breaking habits so much easier!

It looks too easy, but...
I think, clever, easy book and, in the same time, not easy book. Easy because you understand all, you knew all! Not easy, because, if you wish get some result, you must do something for it regularry. It needs concentration.
