Excellent, as always
Asurion is always worth it. My small appliances seem to quit almost 3 years after purchasing - and I get the 3-4 year warranties. The teflon in my air fryer basket started peeling 2 years after I bought it - I submitted a claim and mailed it to Asurion and it couldn't be repaired, so they replaced it.My espresso machine lost its pressure and the milk frother went haywire just after the second year mark. I chose an Amazon credit this time, and as the machine was decided to be unrepairable, I got the credit about a week after I sent the machine back. They provide prepaid labels, and I just bought a small box from Lowes and sent it back. Asurion is so easy, reliable, and has excellent customer service.

Glad to have bought the insurance
We always think extended warranties and insurance policies are a waste of money, but this one was not. I went to use my air fryer one night for dinner and after a few minutes, it was beeping as if it was done. It had 12 more minutes to go. It had an error code and the fan was blowing, but there was no heat. That error code was not in the manual or found online for this item. I moved it back to a storage area to look at later. I use my air fryer every day. (I actually had to google how to cook burgers in an oven!) I took the air fryer out the next day and it worked!! Later that day it didn't. This wasn't going to work very well, not knowing when or if it may work.I have used an Asurion policy before and it was very easy. Send a note on Amazon, answer a few questions and done. Not so much this time, but it was finally resolved. I went through Amazon, but it told me to contact Asurion. I did and although I received emails with people's names on them, I wonder if there really was a live body behind them. I sent the info as requested 3 times, but they kept sending me the same request. I asked what specifically I was missing, but never received an answer. I finally figured it out and the process progressed. I did have to send back the air fryer. They paid shipping, but I had to pay almost $30 for packing it securely. The day they received the fryer, they refunded my cost of the air fryer as an Amazon gift card, stating it was beyond repair. That worked for me.The air fryer would be 4 years old in Sep 2023 (7 months away). Three to four years is their life expanctancy I've read. The cost of air fryers has come down since then and the upgrades have gone up. I was able to get an air fryer twice as big in the interior, and only an inch or two bigger and the outside (important for storage space), with a digital probe, extra heating elements and more options for $30 less. I get it tomorrow! I also bought the protection plan for this one too.If you buy any appliance, I recommend buying a protection plan.

Prompt Service!
The service was very quick. My only issue is that they wanted me to send the product back which was a hassle because it was a large coffeemaker. In the past they only required the cord. I would definitely use this service again because it gives peace of mind when purchasing anything.

Easy claims process
I purchased this for a espresso machine and 1.5 years in it stopped working. I packed it up mailed it with a pre paid return label. They contacted me thru text 2 days later and said they couldn’t fix it and they would be reimbursing me. They sent me a digital gift card immediately. The only thing that sucks is the product is $40 more expensive now. I’m also in Ny so I have a high tax I don’t get back and I have to pay for another warranty. I would of rather had them send me a new one. I guess I’m grateful I get something and the process was so easy

It paid for new appliance when the older one quit.
We garden and hunt and use the food saver a lot.Was glad I purchased a policy for it. The machine quit working in the middle of the harvest. But tanks to the asurion policy we were able to purchase a new machine when the old one could not be repaired. Thank you.

Other than not providing shipping materials, most went very well
A Keurig coffee maker quit 18 months after purchase, and the extended warranty was well worth the money.For some reason, the online Asurion system couldn't find the product or find the receipt when we re-sent it from Amazon. So i had to call.No problem for the phone person to find the product, and to send out a shipping label.However, shipping materials aren't covered, so I had to wait a couple days and find materials.2 days after I shipped the product, it was received, deemed unrepairable, and a full refund issued.It kind of worth noting that over a number of years, I've shipped back several items. None were repaired, all had refunds issued.
