Work's great and easy to install.Registering it on CyberPowers web site was a joke and I was not able to register it,

Very high-quality construction and flawless performance.
I just bought a second one of these (CyberPower AVRG900U AVR UPS System, 900VA/480W, 12 Outlets). I bought the first one from Amazon in December, 2023 and a second one in March, 2025. The first one performed perfectly during a power outage and basically in every other way and at all times. So far, the second one is also performing perfectly. I'm very impressed. These are great.

Good UPS Option
I previously only had experience with a competitor’s UPS product, however they didn’t offer what I was looking for which was a wall mountable UPS with AVR and a replaceable battery. This UPS met the requirements and Wirecutter included it in their other good UPS units list.I’m using it to keep my cable modem, a switch, and a MOCA adapter up in case of a power outage. I haven’t needed it yet, but it had no trouble keeping the equipment up and running when I pulled the plug to test it.My only complaint is that I wish CyberPower would include a wall mounting template and screws, however, it wasn’t hard to make a template myself and I had some extra screws on hand.

I Cannot Do Without One of These!
When a different brand UPS system died, I immediately went into research mode to find a replacement, and I settled on this. Now both my husband and I have one connected to our computers and hard drives to ensure that they keep running in the event of a power outage. It's not enough to have these delicate electronics on a surge protector -- although that's critical -- but this CyberPower UPS gives us time to save our work before the computers shut down. Even though we do have a whole house generator, thirty-seconds of unsaved work can be an eternity. When we did NOT have that generator, we could lose even more. This is the kind of device that you don't know how much you need until you have one. You get about 15 minutes of back-up battery life, depending on what is drawing power at the same of outage, and it goes on immediately upon sensing a loss of current.I settled on this one because of price and reviews. It has six outlets on each side, although only one side has battery back-up, so make sure you choose carefully what you do and don't plug into that side. The other outlets have surge protection only. I've plugged my computer and hard-drive back-ups into the battery side and things like my USB hub and speakers into the other. Unfortunately, as with all the brands of battery-back-up power supplies I've used, larger power packs can block off the use of an adjacent outlet, so 12 outlets doesn't really accommodate 12 devices. I have 7 plugged into mine, and, since most of those devices have chunky power adapters, the UPS could probably take only one more regular plug.If nothing else, you want to plug in your computer and the hard drive(s) you use for back-ups. Everything is gravy.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Reliable UPS, Good Software Support
This is my third CyperPower AVR UPS. I use them to keep my computer, security camera system and TiVo running in case of power flickers. As a Macintosh user I was often frustrated that APC brand UPS didn't update their drivers very often so I couldn't check on the status of the UPS. CyberPower does a much better job - and the PowerPanel Personal tool displays more information. Some models of CyberPower UPS (not this one) can also be configured to send a notification via email or via their cloud (subscription required). I haven't used either so can't comment on their utility.Batteries last about 3 years so I put a reminder on my calendar to buy new ones before then. I've found Yuasa Genesis NP7-12 12V/7Ah to be reliable replacement batteries at a reasonable price. My only complaint about this device is more of a feature wish. In addition to being a UPS it also has a built-in surge protector. Surge protectors work by burning up electrical components to absorb the surge. A few stand-alone surge protectors will tell you when the protector can no longe absorb voltage surges and should be replaced. Most don't - and most UPS don't either. So after 8-10 years I replace my UPS out of an abundance of caution. That's wasteful - I'd like the PowerPanel Personal to tell me the status of the surge protection.

Solid product
I bought this to clean some strange power anomaly and safely shutdown my home server. It has worked very well. My only complaint is that the Linux agent doesn't keep an event history. It only shows the last time the power dropped. But it will beep from time to time and I don't know why.

Working Battery Backup
Really good quality UPS battery backup for small devices at home, like the internet router.
