Quality product
UPDATE - Had it now for 3 years and it is an essential addition for troubleshooting my BMW 335d. Provides plenty of power for extended maintenance operations. Also serves well as a battery charger. I bought this device as a supplemental power source for troubleshooting automotive computer systems and to give a full and complete charge to lead-acid storage batteries. Modern car electronics consume a lot of power and need augmentation for extended diagnostics and reprogramming so you don't run out of battery power in the process. This device delivers plenty of power... I believe it is intended to be hard mounted as it does not come with cables to connect the charger to the load. I purchased an 8 gauge jumper cable at a big box store for about $10, cut the battery clamps off of one end, then stripped and applied copper electrical crimps to the bare stranded wire. This facilitated connecting and disconnecting the cables (stranded wire) to the lugs on the charger. The battery clamps at the other end of the cables provide a quick and convenient means of achieving a good electrical connection to the vehicle or a battery. It is not water resistant. I live in Southern California so rain is generally not a problem--I simply elevate the device off the ground and cover it with a waterproof barrier if I have to leave it charging overnight. The IQ4 Smart Charger is a required accessory to get full and complete automatic battery charging. A complete charge can take several hours to accomplish but is the best way of charging a battery. The device comes with a 20 amp male electrical plug on the power cord so you will need an adapter to fit a standard 15 amp style electrical outlet. The device uses 40 amp automotive spade fuses to protect against mis-connections so I recommend you purchase a package of 40 amp spade fuses and keep them handy as spares. The fuses have a locking screw to hold them in place and can require some coaxing to get out of their slots. All-in-all, the Iota DLS-75 does what I want it to do at an attractive price point compared to other offerings on the market. It is a little cumbersome but it is quality built and I am satisfied with the purchase.

Exact replacement
It was the exact replacement for the one I had. I shut the power off hooked battery charger up to camper battery then unbolted it and removed the wires. Installed the new one wired it up plugged it in and turned the power back on That was awhile ago and everything's been fine. Would Recommend to anyone...

Its Great, but then there was this...
Was really excited until I noticed the plug isn't American. Why was it delivered like it was Jimmy Johns freaky fast subs but I thought it came from overseas and had a UK plug?? After some research I find that its a NEMA 6-20 plug which is still a "U.S." type plug but by far not conventional to the generic style commonly used. Now I gotta make a trip to The Home Depot now to find a extension for it. I'm not complaining though since I love that store and I'm not even a dad yet.

Great
In or Montana 5th wheel last winter I turned the faucet on just a little bit to try to get the water not to freeze solid. Then I forgot, and had to get up hours before I usually do, and get out the door. It was froze when I left so I didnt think about it being on. I didn't show back up for 18 hours. The tanks were closed and not able to drain. So I opened the door of my camper to water running on my shoes. Needless to say I fried this sucker that was in the under belly. Was so happy to find that this wasnt a $800+ fix! Came with in the week to the middle of no where North Dakota, and has worked great since. After a shop vac, and a long night the camper was fine except for this :)
