MARTINAcoustic Guitar Bridge Pins (M2000)

I am a semi-new guitar player (1 year). This was my first time putting in new strings. Super easy. The wires are perfect, take less to fret and make a note sound.I also need to point out, the company did an amazing job. The strings arrived TWO DAYS before they were supposed to. This was the Saturday after Black Friday. Credit is uber due to that feat.

I have a Martin that came with SP Martin strings. I play with another guitarist and mainly play the licks. The SP string have incredible tone but are really hard on the fingers for bending. I tried these and they made playing the guitar much easier and allowed me to play longer. However, there is a tone difference when play cords, not as full.

Don't be put off by a review from a drummer. I also play acoustic and bass guitar. I purchased these strings to put on a really cheap, crappy sounding acoustic that I got since it was a shorter scale and I have small hands. These strings made playing that guitar bearable (a guitarist will know what I mean). Instead of getting rid of the guitar I decided to keep it since it now has a much better sound. Martin strings hold tune, resonate well. I prefer them to other strings I have used.

I am a beginning player, and these ultra-light strings are much easier to play, but the sound is very thin.

I've been using these for years on all of my steel string guitars. I love the balance of brightness and body in the tone. I get a somewhat rounder attack and springier note from these than from other brands I've tried. After trying others, I've always come back to these.

As always, Martin makes the best strings in the business! I love the tone that these particular strings have on my little Yamaha guitar. Perfect for the beginner or the expert!

I have been trying different light weight steel (vs nylon) strings on my Takamine acoustic, and got around to this Martin Marquis set. Sound was pretty good at first, but only a few weeks in and they already sound rather dead, lacking a nice ring or sustain. Prior D'Addario and Ernie Ball Extra Slinky sets lasted longer.

I like a soft acoustic sound and finger pick. Though I have had a classical guitar with nylon strings and those are easy on the fingers for picking, I far prefer the crisper sound of an acoustic guitar. These extra light strings are perfect and sound beautiful on my Martin acoustic guitar.

Bright but with enough depth for good bass string responce. Can hold fingerstyle and lead playing.
