ASURION 4 Year Kitchen Protection Plan ($60 - $69.99)

I bought an instant pot and this warranty. Within the first few days the inner pot (meant to be lifted out and carried) dropped, denting the pot. This warranty says that it covers drops, and accidents with normal usage. They denied my claim stating the reason as "damage". Yes, that's what happens when you drop something. I called and got a run around answer and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they told me they would have to take my name and give me a call back.

These POOP FOR BRAINS do not mention what it is that is covered within their cover letter telling you that your citem within thin bracket is covered. No name of the product, means that unless you forward the letter and include the order info, which includes the name, AND theprice; you could be screwed!

This item has been a problem for me because I bought the warranty at the time I ordered the item and my husband didn’t want the in/door grill that I ordered so I returned it and bought the one that he did want. Amazon refunded the cost for the grill but I haven’t been able to get the money for the warranty back so far. I also used over $30.00of rewards from Amazon and I haven’t been able to get them back either. All things considered, it has been a bad experience.

I did not purchase this plan!!!I would like a refund because this was somehow deceptively incorporated into my order.

I have purchased the Asurion protection for many different products. I recently purchased a food vacuum sealer. After a few months it would not seal. I called Asurion told them my problem. Within 24 hours I received a gift card for the entire purchase. I was able to choose a different product with better ratings. I only had to pay $4 extra. The Asurion protection gives me peace of mind. It's sooo easy to get a replacement. Asurion protection is a definite when I buy products. You never know when you'll need it.

While I don't normally buy warranties, because the warranties that come with most "appliances" are sufficient, after reading reviews of this particular product I thought an extended warranty might be justified! The Asurion 4 Year plan seemed to cover the possibilities and was priced within the realm of common sense. Hopefully I won't need it, but if we do, we'll review it again to share how efficient the claims service is.

Worthless “protection plan.” The coating on the inside of our air fryer started peeling after 2 uses. When trying to get in contact with the warranty co. several times there was no response the first time and no remedy after contact was finally made.

This protection play specifically says it's for the kitchen. I bought a portable electric grill. Not a floor model. Not a rolling gas grill: one I could carry with me. A laptop does not say portable computer in its name...it's a laptop but it is portable. They refused my claim for an accidental drop. Their description specifically says: "ASURION 4 Year Kitchen Protection Plan $60-69.99. NO ADDITIONAL COST: You pay $0 for repairs – parts, labor and shipping included. COVERAGE: Plan starts on the date of purchase. Drops, spills and cracked screens due to normal use covered for portable products and power surges covered from day one. Malfunctions covered after the manufacturer's warranty. So drops should be covered because that is exactly what it says. They lied. They denied my claim saying my grill was not a "portable" grill. Laptops don't have portable in their name either. But they are definitely portable. This was a small, portable, electric grill.
