I don't know what...
I don't know what Sheerness and Stretch have to do with this cable or how to rate it on those terms. I do know that this cable is Well Worth the money. It's got an outer and inner sheath. The wire being CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) is very easy to work with. The outer sheathing is not UV rated according to the manufacturer but I think it will hold up outside without being buried. I only use these cables for my Christmas display. Prior to this, I used economy grade cables and had nothing but problems. Each cable used a different wiring standard and caused many problems over the years... I am very pleased with this purchase and will never "CHEAP OUT" again... As my wife has told me many times, "You get what you pay for!" I got a great price on this cable and the 1000 ft will last me a lifetime...

Outside Cabling!
We have to run MILES of Cabling here on the ranch.. We use this cabling not only for Cat-5e Connections, and remote Repeaters on our Ranch, but I have even used this cable to run Streaming Security Video Camera Signals back a Quarter of a Mile from our Automatic Gates to the DVR Systems here in the house.. not so much as a flicker, and even the Hot SC sun didn't damage it.. at some point, it "Buried itself"... which was an unexpected benefit! ;) UPDATE: 19 May 2016... We had a failure with two cameras mounted HIGH on the Cupola on top of the house (Exposed to the weather). I climbed up there on the outside of the house multiple times trying to find bad connections (Other Cameras wouldn't work on those lines either). I checked everything inside the house where the BNC connectors connected to the DVR... Nothing. I decided to replace those runs of cable while adding "Screw Tightening Video Baluns" ("VIMVIP® 6 PAIRS (12 Pcs) Mini CCTV BNC Video Balun Transceiver Cable") and "Screw Tightening Power Connectors" ("Maxmoral 12 Pair (12 x Male + 12 x Female) DC Power Jack 5.5mm x 2.1mm CCTV Power Jack Adapter") (BOTH of which are AWESOME products themselves! Buy LOTS of them, they are cheap!) But when I cut open the Heat Shrink Tubing Behind the Security System's DVR inside the house, Nasty water POURED out from the INSIDE of the cable, and I found that the Wire Pairs were ALL corroded and broken! Water had infiltrated into the inside of the Cat-5's Outer Sheath (despite the Heat-Shrink Tubing at the soldered wiring at the Cameras on top of the house) and Siphoned down inside the Sheath about 100 feet and right up through the flooring and to the back of the DVR! This IS NOT A FAULT WITH THE CABLING! I "Thought" I had sealed the connections outside to be water-tight, but obviously I had not. Since the Wiring starts HIGH on the house, the water was able to go down the inside of the cabling to the basement, and then all the way back UP through the floor of our security center, and on up to the DVR which sits high on a Wall Shelf. I now use a "Sealing Gel" on ALL outside connections, which stopped the Cabling's WELL SEALED Outer Sheath from acting as a Siphon hose :) STILL an EXCELLENT product, and with the Video Baluns (Mentioned above), I can now run 4 cameras per Cat-5 Cable (With a separate Heavy Power Cable for 12VDC), up to a half mile with PERFECT High-Def Clarity!

Used Cabling for Security Camera Project fora a Customer
I used this cable to install POE cameras on the rooftop of a business in freezing temperatures! The cable tested fine for continuity after terminating, but the transfer rate was too low to power the devices. Had to rerun all of the cable with another brand and the devices powered with no issues. Double the work in freezing weather! I will never buy this product again, and I will never, ever take a risk with cheap, low cost cabling again!

DO NOT BUY THIS ALUMINUM COATED WIRE... Does not meet cat5e standerds and can cause a fire
I purchased 6,000 feet of cable for a AHD CCTV Job. I installed 3/4 conduit underground about $300 worth. Needless to say I installed 2 DVR's at separate sides of the plant. Each side with 5 cameras and 1 PTZ. After 2 days of installing conduit and cable I hooked everything up on the 3rd day and to my surprise the picture quality was horrible. I troubleshooted and made sure I had plenty of power and tried different power supplies and even a 12v 1.5 amp dc power supply to test one of the cameras. No matter what I did I had humming bars and the image was of poor quality. I had 4 cameras working and 2 that didn't and the PTZ and the last 5th cam didn't work. One of the cameras on the house couldn't have been more than 20' back to the DVR. I then tested a 10' cord and still same issue with just using the cat5e for video. This cable is poor quality and should not be labeled cat5e due to the fact it doesn't meet the cat5e requirements. You can google Copper vs Aluminum and watch videos how the aluminum melts. After my experience I'm scared of a fire due to Florida heat and I don't dare try 24 volts over the cable. This has cost me to lose money on the job after 2 days of labor with 2 guys and the cable and conduit. I'm installing 1" conduit with siamese solid copper and cat5e solid copper to replace this poor quality cat5e. There is no gel in the line and the jacket is like a cheap rubber shield around cable. Either way you look at it this Aluminum cable should not be used for any data or security jobs, You been warned, I'd be glad to send anyone pictures job actually showing me ripping all this crap out. Worked Wednesday-Friday and spent half the day Saturday troubling shooting. Amazon is nice and its nice to save money but i'm going to start sharing reviews on all the crap we come across. As a custom A/V Installer I see a lot of crap and this is bad and can really hurt the smaller business guy already pinching penny's.

Great Buy
Every once in a while you find a product that's worthy of the time you spend writing a recommendation. This cable works well for it's intended use. The cable has tough outer layer that seems good enough for a slit trench. Installing the fittings was a breeze. The jackets cut cleanly and the fittings go on very smoothly. As of this time we have not found any manufacturing defects. This product's low cost, good quality, and great shipping, definitely deserves this review.

Great transfer rate
Works great, easy to place terminals. Little stiff but that's to be expected for a outdoor rated cable.

Installed it today
Installed 140ft of this cable from the pull box and it dispensed easily with no snags or tangles thanks!

Works but is easy to break insulation.
It's good wired but seems like its insulation is cheap material.

Price is fine. 50$ for 250ft is alright. Not for POE!
Bought this as I needed to make some cables. Quick note for anyone who needs POE, do not get "CCA" You need 100% copper. Not copper clad Aluminum like this. This works fine for simple not poe jobs.

Not suitable for POE applications
Cheap cable. Works for data transmission. Not suitable for poe. Breaks super easily… do NOT kink wire.
