Recommend using masking tape to cover area surrounding where this is used. Wet the gap you are looking to fill with a paintbrush. On slightly damp surface, get a comfortable hand position and not press only steadily and wait for the foam to emerge. Move gently along or for deeper gaps start at the back of it and work forwards. It does expand a lot.If filling a small gap then place masking tape on top of the foam to hold it tightly in place whilst it cures.Remove tape gently when foam is dry.Filled small grooves around the doors and windows and skirting this way to block draughts.The area did need sanding after it was removed gently not pulling out all the foam.In some areas the rough surface it left needed some surface filling so it wouldn’t look textured when painted.Easy to really get into using these..
