Liberated Through Submission: God's Design for Freedom in All Relationships!

Although I am no longer married I have to say this book was an invaluable source of information and encouragement during my previous marriage to a very old school church guy who heard the word submission but never cared to really understand what the scriptures really say about submission. I have passed this on to other women to help them in their marriages to other Neanderthals like my previous husband. Most importantly submission involves a shared responsibility in marriage for both parties. For me: The insightful teaching for women to understand and rest in her God first and then her husband’s responsibility; as he is ordered to put God first in his decisions. Understanding the whole truth about submission provides comfort to women who might feel like they have no voice. I would learn to pray and let my husband wear the pants because ultimately he is going to give account to God not me! There’s actually a freedom in it! This book is a gem.

Submission brings peace to your household. Is that not what you’re searching for anyway? Read the book—she isn’t some demure, silent mouse. She wrestled with this and found the fruit so we could find said fruit much easier.

This book teaches you how to submit first to God and keep in prayer. Anything that’s missing from the unsaved or save husband it doesn’t make you a doormat at all. Read the book, right

Surely this is God’s plan for submission to Him and to one another. We have been so indoctrinated to seek for self first than others, that we often forget Jesus completely did the opposite without home or other provisions... He solely depended upon the Father to supply all His needs while He served humanity unconditionally and limitlessly. We still have so much to gain and implement in Christ and this book was very helpful in bringing to life God’s greatest commandments that can only truly be done through authentic submission through Christ!

Sister Bunny Wilson gives true meaning to what is the Church "The Body of Christ". To understand what submission is, all one needs to do is just read this book. It's amazing how some of the best jewels in the Church is located all over the world and we are sometimes afraid to just use what God has already done for us through His servants already.I had listened to Bunny Wilson before on a cassette tape and laughed so hard but I heard her message even harder in my heart. That's why I said the second time is a Charm. I'm hoping our local fellowship can do seminars on this book so all can be healed. Yes , there are many stripes in this book and I loved them all.God bless Brother Frank and P.B. "Bunny" Wilson for allowing God to teach us more about His LOVE for HIS church.

When I heard Mrs. Wilson speaking on a radio program, I was intrigued by the idea that submission could be liberating. This book clarified what being a submissive wife truly is. It's not being a doormat to your husband but ultimately, being completely submitted to Christ. She identifies the difficulties in achieving this and clearly delineate's the husband's role and God's expectations of him. While the concept of female submission has certainly been manipulated by the patriarchy, the reality of God's plan is anything but demeaning and oppressive. This book has done more than help me understand how to deal with my husband, but has also shed light on the most important relationship in my life - the one I have with Jesus Christ.

This is an outstanding book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning about submitting unto the Lord. Your routine will be greatly enhanced.

This is the best book I have ever read on the subject of submission. P.B. Wilson has a great sense of humor and her insights about submission have been very helpful to us. We all have to submit to authority every day of our lives - first of all to God - and then to those above us. It is not a rigid, legalistic kind of submission, but a loving, respectful and honoring attitude toward our husbands that is so helpful. She cites several situations where there could be problems and gives insightful wisdom as to how to deal with these. I am so thankful for this little book. By putting her suggestions into practice (with the help of the Lord), our marriage has grown "sweeter as the days go by" (and that is not just a trite saying!) God has given us 60 years together and as we have tried to follow the Bible's wisdom, even though failing often, we have grown in our love for each other. My husband read this book too and we both feel it changed our lives significantly and we thank our Lord for it.

This book is definitely God's revelation on submission to every great woman who is asking what constitutes honor and submission to her husband. It will answer every question in your heart, provide relatable examples, has Q & A sections and it has already transformed my mind as I am armed with new revelation to go forward with. I will keep recommending and even looking to review this as a book with other women. I love that it addresses submission for men and single women also.

This book was so refreshing. I have been a believer for 34 years and a wife for 19. The book changed me. I have always been a submissive wife, but the book helped me to realy let go of divisive issues with peace, knowing that I can give them to Jesus and REALLY trust Him to work things out. The title is correct; we really are liberated through submission. I also delighted in the authors humility and humor throughout the book.

Wow! Is all I can say. A relatable and well presented argument on why women (and men) should submit. I am the most head strong, independent, don't need a man type of woman going but this book has literally made me see and understand things so differently. A speaker on one of Sarah Jakes panels said she would have done things in her marriage differently if she had read this book before she got married which prompted me to read it and I honestly thank God I did. Also very useful for people who are single (like me)
