I was so pleased with this stick
I was so pleased with this stick, I wanted to write a review. First, the stick came packed in the case which was then sealed in a plastic bag so it was totally safe during shipping. The stick came out with no warp whatsoever. The tip was already rounded and scuffed, which I thought was great. The screw piece is extended so that it fits tightly into the handle; a feature almost never seen on cheaper sticks. The leather wrap feels great (I prefer it to linen wraps and it was part of the reason I got the stick). The stick is weighted well and feels solid. Looks/feels great. I play a ton of pool so, I'll see how well it holds up over time but, my initial impression is that you will not find a better stick for the money. I was ready to spend more but, this stick had everything I wanted so I decided to give it a shot. I Highly recommend this stick for beginners or bar players who are looking to improve their game.

A fine stick at a very reasonable price
I'm an amateur hobby pool player and simply wanted my own stick. Of course there are numerous choices available and they can be confusing to the newbie. But my goal was simple, get the most bang for the buck - my comfort level was around $50-$75 dollars, which put this choice at the lower end of that scale. When purchasing a stick, the worst anticipation is getting a stick the might be warped or crooked - no worries here, this one was absolutely perfect. Perfect roll on the billiard surface, no wobbles, none. The second is the tip, this one was perfectly shaped and pre-scuffed. I chose the 19.5 ounce, no regrets there. The finish on the handle is flawless. The grip I chose is a wrapped leatherette (It might be leather, but I doubt it) which is smooth feeling, but if you have moist hands this might not be the best choice and go with a linen wrapped. I decided against linen wrapped due to possible longevity issues. The finish on the business end however was unusual (to me) so much so that I wrote the seller and asked about it. The shaft from behind the tip to within 4" of the ferrule is raw wood. True it's polished silky smooth, and it feels absolutely great sliding on your guide hand, but this seemed questionable. Every other pool cue I've ever had my hands on was heavily finished butt to tip. Granted, they were all house cues or just general knock around cues. The seller wrote back and allowed that they purposely polish off the finish on high end cues just to make them better sliding, and that's the way that most seasoned pool players want them anyway - if they can't buy them that way then they sand it off themselves. News to me, but I can't argue with the results. In visiting pool halls in my youth, there were conical shapes of chalk/powder that we rubbed our guide hand on to minimize friction, without it the cue was always "grabby." Of course that chalk wound up everywhere, most notably on the felt. Now, in retirement, no more powder. I see that everyone is using a glove. I bought gloves for use with this stick - but I don't think I'll need to wear the gloves, more on at a later date. The case is leatherette, and completely serviceable. A small pouch for an extra chalk, glove, etc. An adjustable strap for over the shoulder carrying. The joint protectors are new to me, they are plastic, but do their job - why not use them. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the product. My intent was to get a better stick if my progress warranted, but this item might just carry me deeper into the experiment. All the best, dawjr

Perfect first stick combo for billiard enthusiast
Husband loves it! He has named rhe cue stick Excalibur. He appreciates the hard case and the leatherette look of it. I’m glad I paid attention to the oz. stick he uses when he plays. You need to know that before ordering.

Gift for family member
I wanted to give a gift for a family member that plays pool, he was very impressed and looking at other sticks in the under $100 range this stick is on par with good 50-80 dollar cues. We played a few round with it and could feel quality and appreciate the look of the stick and case.

Great for casual play
I play 1 to 10 games in any given week but only bar tables. I just wanted something I could be used to that was straight and weighted to my liking. Picking out a bar stick can be disappointing lol. I do not break with this stick as Id rather torture the cheap bar sticks, but during play I am super comfortable, I like that the finish does not go all the way dow the stick so it takes chalk better and stays slick. The design/workmanship is satisfactory for the price, I DO like the leather style wraps for gripping and the butt of the shaft is not wide but thats my preference as opposed to wider circumference. all around good stick for the money.

Amazon and TaiBA, a great combination shot!
There is nothing to dislike about this cue. I got 19.5 and the stick rolls perfectly straight on a straight table. I couldn’t be more pleased as now after my job took me all over the US so I had to play on bar tables we’ve got our own table and I’ve spent 3-4 times more than I paid for this cue on cues I no longer kept. This one was packed great with cue stick wrapped in plastic and guards on the ends they are plastic but worked fine. The case that came with, a hard case was also wrapped in plastic before being placed in an appropriate box. It also thanks to Amazon Prime was shipped exactly as they said. I would definitely buy again this brand from Amazon only even tho I may look at the co itself, or look elsewhere for more info on a product, you can always depend on Amazon price for value of product , shipping, warranty and help with any problems of which I had none.

Nice Cue.
I've only played with this cue stick a few times now but I already know I really like it. I only play on my table at home. I'm not a pool shark that plays all over town. So this stick suits me just fine. It feels nice and has a smooth stroke. The case is a nice addition. I keep it in the case and not the rack. That way my friends know it's not for general use. Overall, I approve this stick. Buy with confidence.

You get what you pay for
The stick is the correct weight and length asked for but the build is somewhat lacking. The stick came slightly curved and the tip is slightly skewed. However, if you are just a beginner or just playing for fun then this is a pretty decent stick to purchase especially because it comes with a carrying case and a few accessories.
