Nice design
I have tried the more standard hose fittings in the past and they were a hassle to get on and connected. I didn’t like the way that they bent right at the base, but this design solves those problems. It was really easy to attach and I like the coiled end to support the hose. The quick video was also very helpful.

Male end works great also and is priced well
Works great ❗️Already a lot of reviews here. I’d just like to add that the connector works well on non Zilla hoses as well. I had recently used the female version to fix the other end of the hose in my picts because it had fused to a stuck Y-valve from a decade of hard water. Liked it so much I picked up the male unit for the other end. The factory male end was still fine but the hose near the end had an annoying kink / weak spot.Simple to install. Cut hose, drop on strain relief, drop on threaded compression nut, push coupler on end, thread on compression nut, tighten with a pair of wrenches, snap on strain relief. Done and perfect.🔸Make sure you push the strain relief on until it snaps into place. It’s not just a friction fit; it actually click-locks onto the coupler and stays put 🔸

Kudos to Flexilla
It's easy and it works! I'm grateful to Flexilla for coming up with a solution that ANYONE can use to repair a leak in an otherwise good garden hose.

initial impressions are good
I used this male fitting to repair a Costco 5/8 Flexon hose that started leaking in less than a year. Easy enough to install. I suggest removing about 1/2" of any ribbing you might find on the interior of your hose prior to installation. After my second attempt the new fitting snugged up easily and is leak free. Time will tell how it holds. Its certainly a cleaner repair compared to the hose clamp version or the barbed and collar repair fittings.

Best repair option
Very nice male end repair. The internal bore is 9/16" - not full 5/8 but larger than many. The installation is easy and results in a secure connection. The nicest feature is the integral strain relief which greatly reduces the likelihood of needing to repair the end again. Robust aluminum hose end and tough plastic strain relief.

Factory looking repair
I absolutely love these repair fittings. I almost look forward to damaging a hose so I can use them. Easy to use slip-on the hose insert the fitting and tighten up the compression style fitting. Factory looking replacement end. I also like that the coiled part that goes over the hose is thicker than the threads so when you're dragging the hose across the concrete the threads do not touch the ground they are protected. Excellent product.

Fits great, good quality.
Had a high quality rubber hose but fittings had no strain relief at male end. When washing car with flow thru wash brush it would kink and shot off flow. This was the perfect solution. Good quality. and fits my 5/8" hose perfectly. Worth the extra cost.

No spinning like original did
Still better than the replacement garden hose end I could have bought at my local hardware store but I wish It would have spun freely like the original did. Cut off damaged hose end/ slide threaded sleeve over hose/ insert new hose end inside hose/ slide threaded sleeve up to newly inserted end and thread pieces together. Unless you have 2 large wrenches you’ll need to use 2 pairs of channel locks to tighten then together. Place 2 or 3 layers of thick tape on both side of the channel looks to avoid the teeth on them damaging the aluminum hose end. The two ends pinch the hose there for no spinning like original did. Hope this helps somebody.
