Forcefield Activated ! haha wow I can't believe how well this works.
My best memory and the ultimate test. It was on a very hot buggy day. I had to stand in one place for over an hour and cut the branches down and load the branches and debris into my truck. The last time I worked in this area I got ate alive and even took some of the bloodsucking critters home with me so that they could finish their meal and have seconds and thirds on my dime. I had to exterminate to get rid of them. They got in my boots too.I am not from this area so I had no idea what the heck and how the heck and why it was so bad.. needless to say I had a lot of anxiety to go back and gather up this pile. Someone dumped their junk in my yard again. I hope they stop doing that. Anyway. I took a shower and while still damp I put a thin layer of this lotion on me. Using the dampness to help smooth it all over my body.I even wore a dress. A airy wrap around. So my shoulders, arms, and legs were out. I had no bites and the critters didn't come home with me. The product seemed to have lasted for about 7 hours and I think that's because of the thin layer I used.Another experience: I put this stuff on before cutting my lawns. Usually, and before buying and using this product, I'm ate alive. It's very hot, humid, and buggy here and I tend to have my arms, chest, and legs out - everything is pretty much exposed when I do my yard work. As it is very hot and humid.I put this lotion on and I don't get bit. It seems to depend on how generous I am with layering the lotion, as to how long the product lasts. It's kinda expensive for me.. so I try to use a thin layer and take a shower first so my skin is damp enough to smooth the product over my body well enough to get a fair amount of coverage. I also use another spray to get my back and I also lightly spray my face with that other product. So between the two I'm good. But my legs are exposed and I don't have to spray them, I just use this lotion on most of my body. I don't really use it on my feet tho. I wear boots and lotion up my ankles with the product, and that works well enough to keep the bugs off my feet. But when I take my boots off - if I'm still outside in the buggy area, my feet and ankles (where I don't have product) will get bitten. This product is great and it really works. Thanks.

It worked for me!
I may be one of the lucky ones that has a blood type that mosquitoes and no-see-umm gnats love (sarcasm). So if I'm outside in Florida during the spring/summer months for any length of time, I *must* have something to ward off these annoying creatures. Unfortunately, if it's hot and humid outside, bug spray doesn't work on me because I just sweat it off. So lately and routinely, I travel with a couple of portable Thermacell repellents. After doing additional research, I ran across this product and was a bit skeptical. With nothing more to lose, I thought I'd try it.After being at my daughter's weekend soccer tournament, both Saturday and Sunday, I used this lotion and lo and behold I had ZERO bites! Z-E-R-O!! This product isn't greasy, it does not have a strong fragrance, and you do not need a lot--a little goes a long way. I'm grateful to have to found this product--I'm going to take advantage of every drop and hopefully save a little money on not having to buy thermacell refills.

THE BEST!! IT REALLY WORKS
I have tried everything to keep mosquitoes and no-see-ums.I've tried other repellents, candles, sprays, essential oils, repellant plants, even having a fan blow on me. They (mosquitoes and no-see-um) always found a way to bite me.Then I gave in a bought this Lotion. I am sooo happy I did. It really works.I'm definitely going to buy a bigger bottle and stock up on it.If you're someone that tried everything and nothing worked. I highly recommend this product.I only have tried the Lotion.Do wash your hands after putting it on especially if you're going to eat finger food. Lol

Highly recommend!
I'll keep this as short as possible. I hate Deet spray, it is nauseating, oily and damages plastics. The citric bug spray is a scam.In comparison this stuff works great. Has a very mild smell, is non oily and gets easy coverage. I'm not gonna lie though, there are a fair amount of safety warnings on the bottle so I do wonder how often we should use any of these repellents. But, if like me you are a paradise for bug biters, this is the stuff to get. I was out on a rainy muggy day in the woods and was not bit once nore any time after while wearing it.

Keeps bugs away and isn't yucky like DEET
This is my first hiking season wearing this on my skin rather than DEET and I have been thrilled. It is mostly odorless and is easily absorbed into skin. Unlike DEET, it doesn't affect any plastic. It also doesn't have much of an odor or leave a greasy feeling on my skin. I also rub it on my face to repel gnats and other flying pests who love to hover around my head in the woods. Most importantly, I haven't been too bothered by ticks or mosquitoes on the trails after wearing this product. Unfortunately, it's not much help if you step on a nest of angry Yellowjackets, as I painfully learned last weekend.
