I have to say...though it was scary doing this for the first time...this kit really has everything you need and Schluter provides great video instructions for every aspect of the install.I got astronomical quotes for redoing our bathroom in tile and decided...why not give it a try myself in our unused spare bathroom. I searched and searched and kept hearing/seeing that Kerdi was the way to go. I'm no contractor, but I've got lots of DIY experience and I can say.. virtually anyone can do a good job using this. Just take your time, watch the videos from Schluter, and make sure your walls are plumb and you will be pleased with the results.I'll gladly use Kerdi for the next bathroom.

I like the fact it's easier to install and done according to installation instructions comes with lifetime warranty. And it's supposed to be completely waterproof. We'll see.
