Gatineau Perfection Ultime Ultimate Anti-Ageing Complexion Cream 30 ml

Absolutely love this product, think it is about to be discontinued soon as very difficult to get hold of , it is quite a dark shade but I mix it with some moisturiser and the cover is amazing , can’t find anything as perfect as this product 😊

A lovely lightweight cream which sinks quickly into the skin.

I say pricey because at £39 this is £13 more than my usual tinted moisturiser by Clinique. Having said that, a little of this does go a very long way if you are after lightweight, quite sheer, coverage - which I was. The Medium looks darker on the tube than on my face, so although I'd usually veer towards Fair in winter, this looks paler on and blends beautifully. It's marketed towards "Working women" who apparently "don't have time to use both a day cream and a foundation" but although it still works well on clean toned skin, I prefer this on top of moisturiser rather than instead of.After only a few days I can't really tell how anti aging this is BUT very importantly with sensitive skin, I have had no reaction to this cream, nor has it caused any breakouts - a huge bonus with temperamental dry combination skin. I hate heavy coverage so although you may want a dot or two of concealer with this, for daytime use it's lovely. Just the right amount of coverage for a natural but soft look, with a mild plumping and softening effect. It's also excellent for keeping an oily t zone under control. Is this worth the extra £13? Not regularly, but as an occasional change this cream is a lovely treat.

I confess that I had never heard of the Gatineau brand before being offered this complexion cream.I have to say it is a pleasure to use. The cream smooths on easily and is quickly absorbed without leaving any greasy feeling. It is slightly tinted so anyone with a good young skin or a tan would not need any further foundation. However if you do need foundation then this cream makes a brilliant base. It gives a factor 30 protection from the sun and the manufacturers claim that is will fight the signs of aging by hydrating the skin.I don't know what the long term benefits will be but I am very impressed with this so far.

I have to say I am in love with the Gatineau Ultimate Anti-Aging Complexion Cream. The cream is light so works very easily into the skin with fingers and the Light 01 shade is absolutely perfect for my skintone that it disappears but evens out my skintone with ease. For someone in their 30s I think it can be a tad too heavy for me in terms of moisturisation so I focus it mainly on the drier areas of my face where I can then layer foundation on top for fuller coverage. Alone though it gives that absolutely perfect ‘no-make up make up’ effect with a gorgeous glow without looking greasy. Great packaging as is dispenses easily and the small nozzle means you won’t end up releasing too much. The addition of SPF 30 protects the skin well too during the summer although for my skin, I think I’d wear this more in the winter when my skin is drier.

I've always struggled with "problem skin". In the last several months it has been very quick to become too dry or too oily depending on the products used. Finding a suitable foundation or "tint" has been difficult. I have tried a number of high street products all around the £10 mark, and with various combinations of primers, serums and moisturisers as a base. Gatineau is by far the most expensive product I have tried, and I have to say that it is far and away the best one!It glides onto the skin effortlessly and only requires minimal blending. It instantly feels like a quality product which lives up to it's promise of providing decent coverage with a high SPF that still feels light and looks natural. If you need a foundation that lasts a full day and into the evening, you'd probably want to touch this up at some point, maybe with concealer (for me, under eye concealer if I were going out in the evening), but for a light, natural foundation the durability is pretty good too.Would definitely recommend for anyone with problem skin who isn't too restricted by budget.

This tinted face cream really is lovely. The cream is rich and sinks deeply into the skin, and whilst it does not glide across your skin in quite the same way as other creams it certainly makes it feel far more hydrated and healthy. The light tinting produces a healthy glow to the face, it is very subtle and does not obviously leave colour on your face (I used a medium shade whilst I normally use a porcelain foundation). You don’t need a lot of cream to produce the hydrated and healthy glow so a tube will last for a long time. It creates a blurring effect, that unlike a lot of other products, does actually work. This is certainly a product that will allow you to be makeup free more often as your skin appears far more flawless than it really is.I love this cream. Not only is it rich and creamy on your skin but it produces a flawless natural complexion that looks healthy and hydrated.
