Very useful ironing/pressing mat
I really like this mat. I have been using it to make mask. It's not too big or too small. It seems to hold the heat in well from what I can tell. I have left the cardboard under the mat though. I let it air out for a few days and there is no smell, not even when I iron. There is no smell on the mask I am making either.

Perfect size
I really like this wool pressing mat for pressing pieced quilting blocks. It really helps me to get flatter seams. The size is a perfect fit for my ironing board and most blocks I create.

Just what I needed!
In a beginning quilting class at my local shop, one of the best 'insider' tips our instructor gave us was to purchase a wool pressing mat. She demonstrated how the pressed seams would lie flat and cooperate more efficiently if pressed on a mat, rather than just on the ironing board itself. Once I ordered my own, I found she was exactly right, and I wouldn't be without it, now. This product is portable, durable, of great quality, and large enough for most typical quilt block sizes. Nothing but praise!

Wool pressing mat

The wool pressing mat has made meet all of my expectations and I'll be looking to buy a bigger one
I use the pad for pressing my quilt squares and it does a great job preventing distortion of my fabric squares

Oh! Yes you need it!!!
