I picked this up after dropping an earlier version of the same thing into some water, which killed it. The new one seems to have slightly better screen resolution and (yay) the addition of a headphone jack, which was sorely missing on older models. It seems well made (at least for the price point) and it works perfectly. Of the 168 games included on it, about 20 are actually playable/worth playing, but even if all you ever do on it is play Dr. Mario, Dig Dug or Donkey Kong, you'll absolutely get your money's worth out of it.

My 5 year old told Santa that he wanted Mario for Christmas on his tv 😩 I was not ready to buy video games but I saw these and thought the price was perfect. I bought my 3 and 5 year old boys each one for Christmas. Huge hit! They have so much fun playing Mario and a lot of the other games like superman and excite bike. The batteries last forever I’ve only had to charge them once or twice since Christmas. We have not tried to hook it up to the TV yeah we do want to try that eventually. My 12-year-old girl thinks it’s fun to play too and so do my husband and I. great value!

I bought 2 as gifts for my boys to help with long car rides. These were higher quality than I expected and are still working fine 6 months later. I didn't expect much.

Overall good value, ton of games, While checking the old games, I noticed the pad feels like it is lagging in terms of response you had to really push down the right, down, etc. However my kids love it for now.

We were very disappointed.We received the product with a damaged and non-working battery. We had to plug in the charger to use the device which is very frustrating because the cable is very short. In addition, there are disconnections and the screen turns off suddenly every so often.There isn't much to turn to and the only option is to return the device and wait another two months with you until we get an answer as to whether or not we get our money back.We just want a proper product, that's all...

Nice quality. Battery life is decent. Kids love all the games.Gotta start them on the classics.

This is a junky product. The directional pad is awful and doesn't register all my button presses. I can't play Mario Bros well which makes this thing almost worthless. Even Tetris is a chore to play. At first it seemed pretty good because the games run smoothly, and there is a good selection of classic NES games on here, including Mario 3, perhaps the greatest video-game of all time. But the directional pad is so bad that it's no fun to play, only frustrating. There is also ugly screen tearing when the screen scrolls, creating a distracting warping effect. Don't buy.

The media could not be loaded.  At first I was very excited, but as I started to play within 5 mins this unit - kept going back to its home screen if ever two buttons were pressed at same time. Very irritating and cannot play any game..

Its very cheaply made, the buttons seem to be on the same board as the others in the area of the case making it feel cheap and flimsy.There are sometimes visual artifacts on the screen but not that noticeable (just streaks etc)There are only 186 games on the ROM and not 400Perfect for a kid or if you just want to keep busy on the train or taking a poop

I only tried a couple of games. When playing Super Mario, my character only jumped half the height, making the game unplayable.

Great retro gift. Work perfectly.

good toy for the price, though I do wish it would remember language settings. i haven't tested to see if the games remember saved stuff or not.
