Do not buy this! Microplane products are usually excellent but this is less than useless. I cut my fingers and it works only on very large vegetables and even then you can only do a bit of it because you can't allow your fingers to get to close. smaller vegetables just get mushed. Thee are very particular products for julienne with proper safety features. I put it in the bin.
